Seeing with your eyes closed is first talked about by Ami, that claims she has something called "nightvision", which allows her to know things by discarding her vision. The same nightvision is then talked about by other characters, like Yasu.

HOPE wants Akira's eyes, by the time of the fourth reset - and his followers would "blind" themselves to allow him to see through them (you can see this during Yasu's ritual at the church, and, conceivably, through the rabbits with blindfolds).

IF nightvision equates to sacrificing vision for HOPE is unknown. Neither Wires nor Pareidolia seem to have a connection with either.

I think seeing with your eyes closed comes directly from Pareidolia. I've written some scattered ideas about this before, but this seems like a good opportunity to put things in one place.

I Like how much this image implies about the growth of Noriko and Yumi's friendship and Yumi's character growth. Because Yumi specifically said to Akira she had never told the turtle story to anyone, not even Chika. So this image basically means Noriko already managed to hear the same story from Yumi (Unless Akira told Noriko something but I don't remember). I only wonder if it was before or after the latest reset.

Then he helps her with finding a job, and they keep getting closer, and then with getting back with Yuki - I don't even know if Nodoka would attack her on that timeline because Yumi would probably have given up on bullying way earlier with Akira by her side - but yeah, if it did, Akira would protect her 100% - then when she gets him for christmas it actually IS a love letter, how cute would that be.

Anyway, I want a love story with the tsundere, with lots of dere, wholesome teacher moments and okinawan turtles.

The purity routs feel so far away that I cant even think about them yet. Instead I'm here hoping that 500 Yumi headpats lives up to my hype. I have no idea how Selebus will manage to write it, so I can only hope the cute and hilarious tsundere headpat levels reach critical mass.

Besides the suspicions that this entire update (and maybe future ones until the next reset) may be occurring in a template world and not the "main" one (even foreshadowed with the "Yeah! Like, how do you know you’re not still in that room?" scene), she has referenced stuff like the nightvision, which is something connected to the gods, though it remains to be seen whether she knows only about the gods or she's also aware of the wishing well.
