Guys, I remember something said after last reset we have only 5 left before world collapse. I thought its okay since we had 2 in each chapter, but it loooks like 2nd reset wont be the last one for ch4 so what will we have on ur opinion? Less resets in ch6 or Sel going to forget about this?
I don't know where you got 5 from but it could be accurate. Minimum resets left at the time would be 3 assuming chapter 6 is dark route (and inherently resetless) and infinite spring is just a name. If he wants to extend chapter 4 by a chapter it would be 5. The actual quote is
"{b}CURRENTLY GATHERING: APPROPRIATE DENIZENS OF THE TWENTY-THIRD TERMINAL...{/b}"
"{b}THIS PLACE IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY LESS STABLE.{/b}"
"{b}ONLY SEVERAL MORE RESETS ARE PERMITTED{/b}"

I checked the event name "Flowers for Algernon". And description of the book is interesting.

So a man gets smart, learns truth about past, then regresses. Thats great for Akira. But what left of his past we didn't learn?

-We know about Sekai and what she did.
-We know about Niki.
-We learned about Nozomu and what he did.
-We kind of know his past with Maya.

-We don't know anything about Saki expect she didn't like Akira.
-We don't know anything about Yuu.

That story was required reading in a lot of Contemporary American Lit courses in the last quarter of last century. They made a move out of it in the late 60s called Charly.

Good analogue to Akira's pro/regression but could also represent anyone else who's character arc has been progressing, but gets reset. Definitely piqued my interest as a lit nerd in a former life.

I think one of the big issues in Selebus writing right now is the dissonance between what we know and what Akira knows. At first, he was in the same position as us, he didn't know shit about his past and remembering was dangerous. We shared every discovery with him. Now, I have no idea what he knows, but it's definitely way more than I do.

The way this is an issue writing-wise is that the stakes are not properly defined. There was no trigger or flashback that made him remember about Nozomu, he just had that information and chose to reveal it to Noriko because the script said so.

Does he not know about Maya? Or about Saki? Or about Yuu? I have no idea. Imo Selebus doesn't know what he's doing.

Pretty much. He's able to recall a bunch of Sekai and Nozomu trauma unprompted now, but as of last christmas he doesn't remember the loli Maya times (Which could mean something important if Sel demonstrated he can lay hints early on and build on them in later updates, what happened with Niki goes against this)

He's remembering stuff from long before the resets, but also loses memories from as recently as the last reset (Nodoka's death amounting to nothing so far besides "I don't want her to be involved")

Game direction wise I can understand it would be more meaningful if Maya tells us about the loli times rather than Akira remembering it (or at least prompting him to remember) but realistically he should be able to recall the tutoring days by now considering what he's remembered about Sekai and Nozomu. (Unless it was more traumatic than losing Sekai, unlikely. Or possibly because they're manipulated memories)

Wonder what the happy event will be about, Kyoto was just straight up a flashback rather than a wacky world.
An actual weird happy event is due considering the last two were Kyoto and Alexisthymia, which were just a flashback and an unlockable DLC for a previous happy event. Though, given how Sel is, I wonder if the next happy event is just going to be another flashback.

Since those tutoring times happened after the car crash, he may be not remember them(as in trauma). Maya may be the second problem why he doesn't remember. For all we know she doesn't supposed to exist so either she only come existence with the loops or she made the loops possible in which Akira remembering those breaks the terminal or himself.

But i totally agree with moonflare about Akira remembering things the player didn't see.
