I do understand that, but his coding is still shiettty. If he intends to continue this game for that long, then the amount of malicious malware could have been minimized. I feel like he intended to go towards a different direction before deciding to make the game as it is, otherwise he wouldn't introduce "care packages" to make extra.
It's never been a fapping material from the start. I remember saying when it was first released that "this writing is terrible, but i'll go through with it". I had low hopes from the start, but I do enjoy reading some theories and fun stuff so I eventually stayed.He would have to budget quite a lot of his time for writing to making animation, which isn’t the main interests of the current audience. I don't think it is possible to do proper code refactoring with RenPy. And it is not like the way Sel already writing code does not work.
It looks shitty, but right now Sel can change anything he wants and it would not break game saves

As I know the care packages are available to every $5 or more subscriber, since the game is free he made them as a bonus for those who support him, he doesn't charge more for them. Still he is

They come with some stats for a character or two sometimes, with some lore on them. They also now come with pages from Uta's love ranking, which is kind of cool.
That's more or less my only use for them, though. The extra non-canon pics and animations.. are kind of useless to me.
Edit: Sel also talks about some scenes, and what they meant, which is where him seeing Ayane as his daughter comes from, I think.

Next update goes live for subscribers tomorrow. No idea how quickly it'll get leaked, but lately it's within 2-3 hours.
It looks like he's aiming for a 1st of every month release schedule now.
Couldn't tell if you're asking about game updates of the care packages. The care packages come out closer to the end of the month, but no set schedule.

They have a character info like this (Sel posted this in the forum a long time ago when tried to take down this thread)
The only variable is the fun fact that talks a bit about the character (and obviously the stats of the other things)
Beside this there are a character design (like the model with some expresions) and i think a code for merch (quite useless in my opinion). And in-game content that is not canon (a few pics, one animation where her age is altered) and sometimes a comment about one event, it may be interesting reading how he made that event and how it planned it. But yeah, its not really that important the care packages.
Every 1st of the month is the next release. One per month, so until next month we will have to wait for next update
