I just made a second install of the game. Installed my URM and Guide Mod and also added AutoVN into it. Then started a new game and fully text skipped all the way to this choice. I was given a choice, this was a skill issue. This is where you're supposed to say Yes.

You should get the hint mod and check it before making choices in the middle of events, this isn't even one of the many convoluted choices that can make you miss events.

With the dark route not until chapter 6 I'm not sure I agree but I hope you're right. Not that it matters I suppose, so much dark stuff happening already that the ones we get might be very bad. Also, I could see Sel pushing Noriko until the very end lol.

Edit: also, now that I think about it, it's a good thing Akira is japanese because there's no way in hell that dude would have the motivation to shave at all.

That’s why they later go to the bathhouse together. This is a part of the Arakawa big brain play to remove Uta’s clothes with legitimate hygiene concerns.

Have anyone clicked a character portrait and the game took a little longer than normal to open it up and all the portraits were sort of, "glitchy"? I don't know how to explain it. If you have experienced it, you will probably know what I mean. 0.45, autovn and guide mod.
I've went all the way to chapter 4 and I've only had that glitch happen once when I tried to click Chika's portrait.
