I am hoping this is just Sensei hearing what happened or hearing something bad happened and trying to be a good friend and comfort Yuki in his own way and like Moon said not a repeat of the Imani situation.

I think both of these are a bit far fetched ideas but i want a reasonable argument why Wakana is so obsessed with this thing even though her relationship with Osako goes nose dive.

To keep it short and skipping some stuff,
My hypothesis is that Sekai's poems and knowing of her existence/deeds has some sort of mystical hold on people. They are like cognito harzards.
They can't help but get obsessed over it. Ghost Sekai is an evil entity that corrupts. The poems are one of the ways in which she has influence over this plane of existence.

I am so exited for their talk because:

- she already knows he was molested by Sekai (at the start of chapter 4 )
- she has some knowledge about Sekai and her poems
- she knows those poems can influence poeple in a bad way

So Wakana can skip all these sad Akira noises and gets into the point.

Preach, I've been rooting for Wakana ever since the incident in the library, and I think her platonic friendship with Akira has been absolutely beautiful.

I quite like Wakana. Weird to think about it, because I was really pissed at her for her meddling once. Thing is, I do think that what Niki laid out for us last update was the last drop for me in many ways, and I currently hold zero hope for Akira. So I guess I'm in for the other characters at this point (and Himawari's plan of course).

I do wonder if it was Wakana that reached out this time, or Ami that got in contact with her. We don't know where she ran off to, and Wakana, iirc, was one of the few people that actually praised her (and praised for something she admired in her mom, which is huge for Ami). We'll see.
