My 1st attempted playthrough resulted in me being a "bad homie" to Rin as well. Thats somewhat common for 1st timers cause there is nothing in game other than her asking you to wait in one event prior, so easy to forget; plus you dont know exactly when it is that Luckily, since I grew up in the olden days, I had kept a large number of individual save files so was able to go back and restart from just before that decision.
Worse than that, with my stress testing playthrough I started this run with, I found out you can do shaudenfraude before Rin even tells you to wait. Actually possible to be impossible to know.

But URM? No! URM is the least you want to have with branching stories and grinding. Not only with LiL but all Ren'py games.
It's extremely easy to use. Shows you where those branches are. Kills the grinding.
It's recommended a bit too fast for my tastes. The kind of people who aren't careful doing things are the people who ask for help to fix the mistakes, and those people have demonstrated in this thread that they click that path detected showing up on in the corner very often, and force themselves into paths they didn't earn. In this game that can mean force missing events cause you forced yourself into the check for whether you should miss an event for not.

When they ask "Do I really need to grind up all of this?", I can then recommend URM with the caveat of what not to do. Guide mod is a universal good (unless Sel decides to be a massive douche and decide guide mod users are cheaters.) but URM I can't recommend as easily cause breaking your save via URM is undiagnosable.

URM became a must-have when sensei-quest was introduced.

(yes, you can do it without it. But before that, with the exception of extra Himawari scenes, grinding was barely a thing - at most you'd have to fast-forward through 5 repeatable scenes, and that takes like two minutes).

I hope Akira overhears and shouts "Both is also a viable option"
I have to disagree only for the sake of the neglected Tsukioka:

I wish I knew about URM in my first playthrough. Would have saved me a hell of a grind with the Love and Lust points.
I would like that too, I remember that in chapter 3 after losing the toys event I tried to continue the game, and so I wouldn't lose any more lust events, I manually leveled up the lust of all the available girls to more than 200, it was a lot of work to do this for each one.

VoidExileIt has a scene that felt unnecessarily brutal. A sexual humiliation for Yuki turns into actual gangrape. She has a preview out that shows she's kinda bounced back already with a new look.
Well, AT LEAST It's Yuki. Not a people's favorite I imagine. I had kinda forgotten Yumi's name there for a moment so I confused Yuki for her. Consequentially I felt the sting of reading this... I feel like I confused their names last time we talked too.
Anyway, still a matter of IF rather than WHEN I will play again. I will most likely just boot up the game to figure out wth that rooftop HOPE nonsense was about. Unfinished business. Damn fucking shame too.
P.S I download and preview update packages because fuck it. Might as well know what's being talked about

The thing about Sensei is that

This echoes something I've said recently, but I'll reiterate and explain further: When I said I lost all hope in Akira it had to do with what you're saying here. What is Akira exactly? There's nothing.

His recovery shifted from "something I look forward to" to "unlikely". And without an actual will that is shown struggling against all of this, him as a character is just pathetic. Like, why am I watching this story through this dude's eyes? Pareidolia was right to jump ship to Yumi, and so would I. I hate spineless characters.

Odds are decent that many of us will die before this game is completed.
Random Person just passing by,
Last march one of my closest homie is passed away from Hemorrhage, none of us expect that's gonna happened.
And lately i often thought to offed my self,or there's one diagnose that's gonna unexpectedly take me away like my homies.

So the point is what are you saying is true,
Not decent but really high.
Like this thread is already at 2853 page, and none of us know how many people who's already off from this world up there from page 1 till now.

There are quite a few games on this site that are tagged as Abandoned because the creator fell off the face of the earth during the peak of the pandemic. Maybe they just got bored. I hope that's so. But statistically, at least one of them fell victim to the virus.

There's at least one game whose lead developer died during the last stages of the game's development (Double Homework).

There's the simple fact that there are people in their 50s and older on this site, and multiples of them in this thread, that means natural causes have a chance to claim us before this game (with roughly 10 years left in its dev cycle) finishes. Add in things like cancer, accidents, the fact that a lot of us gooners don't exactly take care of our bodies, etc.

Even disregarding self-deletion, for a game that's going to be milked for another decade or so, odds are good a lot of the early adopters aren't going to see the promised land.

Man the thread got dark and it wasn't even because of the recent gangrape.
I means
I just randomly scrolling through the upcoming spoiler and you guys thought on recent updates, but suddenly barg comments passing by and I'm entering my post-nut clarity moment.
Let's make it brighter, then. Who do you all think is the next girl to leave Virginia?
The closest one probably Touka or Wakana C̶h̶i̶n̶a̶m̶i̶

I'm going to go with Molly cause technically we have not seen that yet, so she is still in Virginia until proven otherwise.

Oh and regarding URM being a necessity, even on first playthrough; I'm not sure. I actually like 'grinding' in games. Like cause I developed Stockholm Syndrome from playing all those NES/SNES RPGs when I was a kid. So if you are broken like me, then you might not need it

I've only used it in my 2nd playthrough to see the branching scenes I would have missed, and then revert back. I thin k doing that on the 1st time through will leave you confused as to what HAS actually occurred in game.

That being said, you can sure as hell bet I'll be using it to edit values when I get to SENSEI QUEST again
