There's also been no threat of punishing Akira again if he doesn't do something this chapter, so someone getting reset out of nowhere seems very unlikely.
Yeah I agree, there was a ton of build-up to Maya being reset, there hasn't been anything like that for Ayane. More than anything though I think it's unlikely here because there just isn't really any point, it wouldn't be interesting.
Maya was an interesting character to reset - not just for how emotional it was or for the impact it had on Sensei but because love her or hate her Nu Maya is super interesting. She was our first window into the real(and/or new) Ami, she shows us what Maya was like before the resets and offers a lot of insight into both her and Akira's relationship, into Akira himself and into the kind of person he was before the resets.
A reset Ayane doesn't offer any of those insights, she'd just be regressing to a version of herself we've already seen. There's nothing a Nu Ayane could show or tell us that current Ayane can't and any emotional beats that came out of it would just be retreading the same ground we had at the start of the chapter.
I'm not saying I think she's untouchable or anything but I'd be surprised and disappointed if what she had in store was a completely random reset lol
