Otoha has grown a lot, continuing to hate her nowadays is kind of pointless, but hating Futaba is still right, she continues to be the least interesting character in this game. Like, seriously, I've forgotten she existed in the game several times, she doesn't even serve as Nodoka's love anymore since Nodoka is super focused on the supernatural and barely talks about it nowadays, so far he is the least interesting character of all.

This game is kinda dead, isn't it? I remember when I would come to this forum the day after an update and there would be dozens of pages of comments. Today, there are five. Sel's income has also dropped enough that he removed the money publically from his subscribestar entirely.

The game isn't dead, were just in the slice of life portion of the chapter. Sel cant blow his load too early with Chapter 4, since we have another year maybe two with this chapter. After 0.45 it's just been expanding the characters stories. 0.53 and 0.54 looks like when the gods/resets shenanigans pick back up again.

People are very protective of Ayane ;-; seriously, I don't think I've ever seen so many angry emojis being directed at me just because I said I'd be happy to trade Ayane for Maya prime back ;-;

Ayane has done nothing wrong and you're still willing to throw her away for what seems like personal reasons rather than a consequence of the ingame actions like hating Kirin for all she did to Ayane.

Like in the end if I had to pick between them I'm choosing Prime but it would actually be a choice that makes me sad.

Another controversial opinion of mine, if Niki reset I won't care, for me her arc is practically over, there's not much more she can do so if she gets reset I won't care import.

Niki barely had an arc until now. She came into the game with a backstory of waiting for Akira, and then after a few years she got to fuck Akira, then a bit more and she got to live with him and experience Ami. She existed to push other people's arcs. Now she's gotta deal with the truth of Akira and also how getting back with him ruined her music, which she might fix with this trauma instead. Then there's the whole becoming a (music) teacher that she wants, and also Otoha who wants to fuck her and who has a nude of her on presumably green path (also what was the gift). I'm not sure what the plan is but there's stuff there to work with.

People have already pointed out their genuine love for Futaba, and I pointed out how hating Otoha might have been intentionally engineered to make her fate hit harder since she's arc-less too at the moment. Right now even the girls ingame aren't big fans of her besides Maya after what she did to Rin. Time for an emotional sucker punch where even her closest confidante might be compromised (Imagine Prime having to explain how Otoha's rape might have let Prime come back only for Otoha to be stuck in auto-pilot)

I'm not trying to bait anyone - I am simply giving my opinion (and not presenting it as universal fact, as you did). I do not like Maya - I have never liked Maya. I thought maybe I'd like her after she got reset, but she's as bad or worse than she was before. I know lots of people think she's amazing - I don't understand it, but I am aware of it. She's not my least favorite only because Nodoka exists. One of the things I dislike about the game is that it presents Maya as so important to Akira, without (IMO) giving any reason why. (I'm sure people will try to explain it to me - they will fail.)

Nah, the least interesting character in the game now has gotta be Miku - with Futaba there's at least a seed between her parents situation and her having a TSS. Miku's got nothing going for her, the best you can hope for when there's a new Miku event is that it'll be funny and not just another sex scene to skip through.

I can see this tbh, since her medication plot got sidelined she's just felt like a tame version of Sana but overall I feel Otoha is probably worse. At least with every single other character , besides from Nao, I can get what Selebus is trying to tell through their overarching narratives but with Otoha it feels as if I'm just watching the previews until the real movie begins. I may be wrong but to me it seems like all the interesting parts about her character just lead to nothing.

I am thinking Tsubasa is a lot more aware of the world outside of just knowing about the gods. Her being this cryptic makes little sense to me unless the very act of speaking things can cause something to happen (which has happened before). What else could possibly be a threat to their family?

I was very against Otoha for a long time, but I feel ambivalent about her right now (which is a huge improvement). I think her last talks with Akira were really good and I hope they'll lead somewhere nice. I even made some posts about it in the past.

My prediction is that Otoha has a seed that could sprout into being another Sekai.

I actually liked Futaba for the first and a half chapters but she's literally just one schtick and that's it, you could probably guess after the first reset that anything she does to improve her self-image won't have any lasting effect and that's literally been her status quo ever since.
