Shot in the dark, perhaps Sekai was in the same sort of game Akira is in now where the universe sort of bends to accommodate and encourage his wants. All of the girls are, for the most part, accepting of his bullshit and blindly, unbreakably, in love him just like he does for Sekai. Perhaps it's still a lingering effect?

Except Akrias affecting countless girls, where as Sekai has only affected him... that we know of? We have seen her mention and be cool with wanting to molest just about anyone.

Like I said before. Akira could probably go to the cops and tell them all the shit he has done and he would probably walk out with a medal for being a good boy.

Sekai apparently heard voices before she died which sounds like what Akira and Yumi experienced with Pareidolia (Probably other gods though)

The only thing is she would have had to have experienced them before the time loops started, so is it a case of the gods exist outside of the loops? It would have weird implications for whether they exist in a matrix like simulation, or did they then create one after some time complete with admin commands. (Think of an ageless being like Cthulhu thinking we need to make a matrix)

I am speculating perhaps the universe bending to their will might have happened before the time loops. Perhaps they were in the matrix simulation but the loops just didn't start yet till Akira was the main host. Perhaps when Sekai died that's when whatever gods jumped ship to Akira. Or maybe started the egg process with him, if I am using that lore mechanic correctly. I think it was told to me that becoming an egg holder is what starts you down the path to have gods jump into your head. But I could be totally wrong, the meta lore hurts my head and I really don't know fully how things more involved players know actually work.

I think it's pretty obvious that the gods existed before the barrier even existed, even before Sekai heard of them and she also existed, as was said to Akira, this started long before he was born, so the gods have obviously existed for a long, long time.

I am 99% certain the gods always existed since humanities birth. Remember that... one of them referenced Jesus being one of them.

Paredolia said that gods depend on humans to exist, as long as humans believe in them, they exist and gain more power, so they possibly have existed since the dawn of humanity.

I only remember itch having full downloads and it won't be public yet. You can find patches on the subscribestar. If you have the correct versions you can add the patch, you can't skip patches or things will break.

I just checked and they still work so yeah, if it's the 0.50 patch you're looking for grabbing it from itch should be fine.
