My folder is on my desktop, so it should have all permissions. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe the problem isn't specific to my location.
I definitely messed with my save token a few years ago (def before update 0.4.5.), but honestly the fact that there are repercussions now is a bit insane to me.
Did the Tsuneyo profile outfit unlock fail for the same reason?

Ok from what I'm seeing it's definitely the save token manipulation. It's only repercussions now because it's the only time it's mattered. Your different save token means you can't save changes to that persistent file now.

Tsuneyo's outfit should just be a matter of you not saving after headpatting noodles, and noodles should still be in the dorm if you haven't.

i just dont understand why cant Selebus make an any animation in h-scene. We pursue girls for years and get 3 renders sex. With all existing mods i cant believe he cant make at least 1 pose. it doesnt even have to be rendered, since its koikatsu engine, or renders x10 faster im sure.

I think you misunderstood, it's not that he can't, it's just that he doesn't want to, and he doesn't care, it's quite simple, he's already made it very clear from what I remember that he doesn't care for this.

I tried both things you shared, neither worked. Thank you for trying, though. I'll eventually restart the whole game just to make notes and follow along better so I'll just nuke my saves folder when it's that time. If Alexisthymia is ever required for something though, let me know lol. I'll be able to have it as long as I grab it before that scene.
Also I definitely headpatted noodles before. I still see him on the second floor, but can't headpat him again.

Each update's like what, 60-80K words? That's basically a novel per month even without the rendering, editing, and basic animations he does lol he probably just can't be fucked

He pretty much only cares about his story and that as a medium it can make him enough money to not worry about other stuff while writing it. I assume his priorities are writing > consistency > ambiance > characters > animations in that order.

I recall he did a longer pauses for the last year, he wasnt consist(mostly coz of patreon crash out but still) and updates took longer than 1-2mo.
1 animation of jumping Kirin, Molly's and Sana's pounding made by 5-10 days(or even less), would insrease update's worth much more than % of 5-10days to 60days, much more.

It just depreciates the main idea of LiL, of pursing the girls(since it's strong side is plot and tense, teasing and ambiguous situations , not sexy 3d models or constant sex scenes and etc), when you know there will be 3 renders and "pounding" sound.

There was some talk about her coming from the sea, though there isn't enough stuff happening there to theorize yet.

Yeah, I'm thinking coming "from the sea" means that she's from a different world. The narrator talks about how other worlds are on the far side of the sea, in particular the world with the abandoned school (Sana was told something similar in her TSS).

This opens a weirder theory. What if Ami isn't real in the wider world? Himawari, yes, but what if Ami too? What if Kyoto? What if she exists now because of Sensei's belief in her, like in the gods' case?

Whatever his workflow is, sex animations fuck with it badly. Even using the stock koikatsu animations he had to split them appearing in 0.47 and 0.48. It's not a 5 minute thing like people are assuming. I could imagine it's perfectionism fucking with lack of control of the animation's angles.

formyfather.mp3 was included in the 0.52 update patch but isn't used in the game (yet).

There was also a date of death image this update, though no real context for it, just another weird thing happens and then spooky text and audio plays afterward.

I would be truly stunned if Ami simply remained evil the entire game. Like, really? She just sucks? That’s it? No way. It feels way too simple.

Perhaps it won’t happen until the next Chapter or the Dark Route, but we’ll still get an answer eventually.

Assuming this is our Ami, just revealing her true colors now, perhaps it’s a Monika from DDLC situation.

It would still make the Ami we see in “Lamb Legs” plausible, because when she says ‘none of this is me’, perhaps she means that the loops/simulation changed her for the worst.

Let us not forget that Maya Prime alludes to killing people in the past too, as she went through a similar crisis as Ami. We just don’t see any of it on screen.

When you and you alone (from your perspective) know the truth of the world, wouldn’t you go a bit crazy after awhile?

We’ll get through to Ami eventually by the end of the game. It just won’t be easy. And it won’t happen for quite some time.

I think there is a revelation, yes. But I mean that people are done with current Ami's arc. As to the revelation, I do think Ami is likely to have started the resets herself and be actually protecting Akira by all this murder-hobo nonsense. But then again, that's how I'd write it - because another possibility is that she just went insane and thinks she's protecting Akira. Which would be much more tragic.

Many things aren't right, as people have pointed out already. Someone with knowledge of the resets far superior to Maya, and that has retained her memories through countless cycles would be much less inclined to hold Akira as such an obsession imo. But who knows how Selebus sees it.

Piggybacking off of this, if we end up getting into multiverse shenanigans, I wonder if there will be any future arcs where a different Ami that hasn't just given up and turned evil might enter the narrative, maybe even confronting our current Ami in one way or another.

Not gonna lie, I do hope that there's some kind of redemption for our Ami. If she wasn't an evil little shit, I actually would prefer her personality now over the off-putting cutesy act she's been running with this whole time. I like her sarcasm and nonchalant bluntness, to the point where I was really crossing my fingers going into this update hoping that we could start a genuine reconciliation with her. Oh well for now, I suppose, and I'll hope that bridge isn't burned forever, but I'll expect that it will be.
