With the new confirmation that Terminal 23 is the result of Maya's wish, and Maya is the result of Akira's wish, go back and play the first 3 Main Events of Chapter 3: "Virgin of the Apocalypse", "Memories", and "Empty Eyes". This new context gives a whole world of meaning to these events, and potentially provides major hints to the wording of their wishes, which is inherently tied to the mystery of the world. I'm currently pouring over them trying to decipher them, though quite frankly I'm pretty sure the theorycrafters here will do a better job of it than I will. I've included some screenshots below to whet your appetites, but real quick before I move on to that, unrelated to the wishes, Ayane opened one of Maya's boxes and was trying to grab Akira's attention, claiming that it was something important he needed to take a look at. Curiously, she never described what was in there, so the contents of the true boxes instead of whatever the hell nuMaya was carrying that one time may hold a major clue or bootstrap. Anyways, screenshots:

Half of this still makes the same amount of sense, and the other half is just confusing right now. What does god have to do with it in the first place? Wasn't she wished to love him in the first place?

Need more game context now because because before 0.53 it felt like Maya defied the wish that brought her into existence and fell in love with Akira instead, I would have said at the time that Ami made Maya to help Akira love Ami more (Maya 2 dialogue when she was introduced)

Quite possibly the biggest first world issue right here, and I haven't really been able to find anyone else complaining about it, but is there a way to fix special characters in the message history? Genuinely pisses me off for some reason

I have updated the reset guide with the latest reset Flowers for Algernon.
I'm greately disaponted in Selly boy because Molly the irish girl who makes numerous gaelic references didn't react to dadaidh which is gaelic for daddy.
He forgot to make all of those waifus react to Selebus (unless it was retroactively added in 0.53)

The Bootstrap Paradox idea lines up too well not to be true. The scarf is the starting gun, and we'll be seeing more objects in the future. Maybe the endgame to fixing the world is getting Maya to realize/admit the wish nature of herself and the world to Akira, and Himawari saw that it could only happen by getting Maya to open back up.
For me, this is one scary, beautiful, and sorrowful idea all at once bundled together. Now that we know how Kumon-mi came to be, maybe the only way to escape its confine really isn't about making it through custodians, dodging gods' poking, and doing some overly complicated timey wimey shit. Maybe it really comes to Maya finally being ready to let go, to relinquish her wish and crumble those impossible walls, and to say goodbye to her creator/lover one last time so that he may move on. It's like what you'd have done with your coping mechanism imaginary friend once you've regained your footing and are ready to move forward.

(though it technically might not work that way as the Maya Prime we come to know wasn't the one that wished Kumon-mi into existence as I understand, but I'd love to have my heart stabbed one more time before finally being done with LiL)

Yes! Someone made a patch to fix this and it's somewhere on the forum - I found and installed it during my second playthrough.

It's not linked in the OP, but I'll follow up with a link to it if I can find it again.

Maya's wish was the time looped world. Getting her to admit that and having her wish break down just returns them to a kumon mi that isn't stuck in time.

So...Nodokathon...Certainly an event for the ages. *Cough cough*
I liked the first one. A deviant sex playground that takes your lust grinding into account is a neat enough idea (YOU GO WIFE BEAT THAT COCK TEASE)

Nodokathon 2 where the only deviation is whether you see it or not though, into a foot fetish scene, ami being a public incest gremlin again and then traumatizing Sara for no understandable reason, which is then undone 2 events later when Sana convinces Sara to join her and she seemingly accepts this... Yeah pass. Still have to find out why Ami gave her a hug.

I have a tinfoil prediction to share.

Yeah, I made a patch that fixes this, along with other typographical errors. You can get it from this post. It's bundled with another patch that "fixes" replays but you can delete that if you don't want it.

Eh... I won't judge, I had the same reaction when I saw that face of her.
But, if it's true, I don't think I'll be happy about it. Because it'll feel undeserved.

Either way, if all it takes to bring back Maya was to let Ami kill her, then... thanks Ami!
You're still a disgusting, incestuous, sociopath little girl, but for once, you've saved someone!

I mean I'd love if you're right, just seems too easy after insinuating it'd be some sort of slow burn with sentience points.

If she starts acting more prime like though, that's also a good thing. Please let her get dicked good it's all she's been wanting for a year at this point.
