Heya, I didn't play this game in years and finally want to give it another go. I saw some talk about bad/good uncle routes having some interesting differences. I assume those routes depend on if MC accepts Ami's feelings or not, so I'd like to ask is it worth to go for incest route(without big spoilers)? Usually I wouldn't hesitate to accept but considering this game also putting a lot of emphasis on plot and horror I'm kinda worried

Edit: Also, what's the purpose of care packages? Do they add some bonus scenes to the game?

Big arrows are your friends, little arrow if you're lazy. Don't touch the care packages, they're booby trapped and contain garbage content. If you absolutely must view them, do not install them, just view them from within their folders. I'm not answering further questions, this is all you need to sort yourself out. For anything else, use the fucking search bar...

Bingoogus already talked about the care packages (although the care packages from the "fanfest" 2025 are completely safe and are worth it imo - but shouldn't be played before at least chapter 4).

On the topic of choice I'd recommend going for what we call the "green route", which means not missing a single event. Download the walkthrough mod, make sure to read the notes on every event that you're about to trigger, and you should do fine. When in doubt, always pick to do something rather than not.

The horror elements get worse / stronger if you don't do incest. You're supposed to do incest.

Another reason to think the first half is Maya is that the same voice was used for AmIOkay in Yumi's event "I See You". I think it's also plausible it's Ami since Maya "stole her story" and AmIOkay contains elements of both of them, but I'm not sure it really matters since they used to be the same person, anyway .

Are we winning? Everyone finally seems to move from Himawari is Ami to Himawari is future Maya and finally by the perfect syllogism landed on Maya is Ami. Told you I'm right all along.

The Maya theory is ehhhhh, vibes-based? Like that part is really shaky.

The second half is in the voice that Wires used when introducing himself in "Word of the Day". Wires seems to want Sensei to forget his trauma in the sense of leaving it behind him; the way he repressed the memories at the start of the game wasn't good enough since he still kept trying to recreate the "love" that Sekai taught him.

Right, isn't 'The girl with the me who is me who is Ami' just Maya? and the 'I am Ami' part is just Ami proclaiming herself. The line was...just Ami shouting at Maya about her stealing her place, right??? Yeah, that's it. Jealousy.' So sorry for spewing random shit above, even when I'm playing LiL I gotta go over the same exact passage multiple times before I get the meaning

Actually their heads kind work like lego pieces, but they're are hollow when they have no hair. I just took a ball, color matched it and shoved it in her "head hole". So Ami doesn't have any room in her brain to scheme. Because there is literally nothing in there.

All 35 girls in the game are Ami. The real Ami, not the Twintail Psychopath. Akira broke her so badly that she's disassociating 34 times over.

And our Akira isn't real. He's just the face she puts on her trauma.

If the one speaking here was the Ami narrator, then who was the girl with her?

Here's the line with emphasis added: "The girl with the me who is me who is Ami I am Ami." I think bold is Narrator Ami and underline is Ami Arakawa. Narrator Ami is inside Ami's head and conflates the two of them because of the infection that is driving them both mad, but they're not the same person. Narrator Ami remembers things like "our youth" together, she wasn't Akira's daughter/niece.

No, it shouldn't be the Wires. The narrator in "Word of the Day" shares a great sense of sardonicism akin to Pareidolia. And he stated that he watched Akira grow which was something only Pareidolia did. I really don't think Wires has ever appeared in himself before chapter 4. All of them were pretend created by Pareidolia.

But I might want to add some flavour to this theory. I think if the event Three Halves Make a Whole could not only be a hint on Kumon-mi actually has three halves, but also that User 4 is consisted of three people.

Maybe the theory we should really be talking about is that daagagsdgd and aramaug used to be the same person.
