Ami explicitly said that she was trying to trigger Sensei by sending Nu Maya out with those boxes when she cockblocked her
Does that mean the boxes thing are Ami trying to force whatever would've happened in if Yumi wasn't there? Because she wanted him to stay in the sandbox forever if he didn't enter the Ami route, and knew that, regardless of his progress, Sensei would eventually be washed away and return to the beginning, with her as the ever-useful Navi.

As far as 'Not is me' goes I dunno, I'm not sure anything permanent would have happened there regardless. I kind of figure he zoned out there to be snapped out of it by Yumi, if you catch my drift. That could just be me not looking hard enough or being dumb though lol

She was content to play her role for an unending stream of fake Senseis.
The potential was always there, whether it was suppressed subconsciously but came out slowly or whether Ami knowingly played a role and acted all this time until she couldn't be bothered anymore, I don't think there is enough evidence for either side.
Because if we assume that innocent Ami literally turned into evil Ami, we would need to be shown the trigger. And maybe we will, maybe something did happen.
Well, what happens when she realizes that OG Sensei is actually there? Would you agree that "Everlasting Love" is the event that show us that she became aware of it? Or am I reading too much into it?

And if so, wouldn't it make her change her behaviour from previous iterations? Curiously, when I thought of this, my mind went in the opposite direction than yours, ara: Maya had revealed that psycho Ami was a thing, there were lots of talk about resets in front of her, and yet there were no killings. I could only rationalized it as if there were more at stakes in this cycle, Ami had something to lose (Akira) as well.

Also, Maya said that whenever Ami was triggered, she would not stop at anybody, even Sensei. But in "Della" she's very remorseful after injuring Sensei's hand, and that's because he is Sensei. As you pointed out, Ami is reverting to the beggining of the game, she is treating him like another fake Sensei for a minute and goes as far as harming him. That's where she knows she lost it, when she realizes she is out of control and needs to stop and come out with a new plan. At least, that was my interpretation.

So you see, while you are looking for reasons that explain her becoming deranged I'm actually wondering why she is still not as bad as the way Maya painted her. And you can call me crazy, but let's see what she's really done so far: Nodoka's killing doesn't count, it was another universe. The bloodbath in Tsukioka's mansion seemed to happen after they were unconscious and more of an annoyance for the janitors than murderous purposes.

"All" (emphasis on the quotes, please) we have is the continuous torture towards Maya. A fake Maya. I mean, this is another thing I wondered at the time Maya revealed the nature of Ami. Why would Ami attack every girl with the only exception of prime Maya. And the moment there is a fake one, she can't stop toying with her, as if she's been waiting million of years for the opportunity.

Of course, by then I thought being killed would get you factory reset by default, and now I can't really rule out the posibbility of prime Maya getting killed and or tortured by Ami at some time. But I still lean to that not happening. Now, I'm sure there's more to this than Ami seeing people either as dolls or "real" and it's not like I don't double guess myself all the time. All my little brain can do is ask questions instead of coming up with a well rounded theory.

P.S: I'm Sorry if this has been already discussed / debunked. I can only kind of follow the thread when you guys are not going crazy in here, lol.

I got some questions but kind of afraid of getting spoiled by searching to much since im only like 15 hours into the game.

1. I know the game has missable events but how important are they to the overall plot? are they just variations of similar events or do they have important story/lore?

2. Is their a way for me to get all content in one playthrough including all the bad choices/scenes/routes?

Loving the game so far, I just want to make sure I get everything without possibly having to replay since the game is so long.

1. Yes, they do. Though even without seeing them, the main plot will still be linear.

2. There is no extra content behind the "bad" choices. It's just a slight variation, like "Damn, if only you had chosen the other option, you would have seen so many events you lost, loser"

I played version v0.21.0 in early 2022 and really liked it.
Please tell me, is v0.54.0 close to completion? If not, how many more versions/how much more time do you think we will have to wait?
Sel is one of the few creators who actually releases content on a promised monthly schedule, so it's worth it just to play it and enjoy the new content each month. The game is roughly halfway done, according to him.

1. Download the guide mod, it will provide an additional tab on the menu that will notify you of both the triggers for the next events, and will provide a notice (most of the time) about the requirements and order of events you need to select to not miss anything. Make sure to check it between every event, and don't advance the main plot before clearing the character events.

2. There absolutely is a path that sees every event in the game in a single playthrough, we've taken to calling it the green path. The obvious stuff is choosing to do everything you possibly can (having sex with everyone, for instance). A few (very few) choices are not that obvious. Like you having to choose a specific person for something, but those are minor (and should be in the guide mod as well).

3. Make sure to keep a separate save from time to time, so that you can reload and fast-forward if you ever miss something. This shouldn't happen, but better safe than sorry. Keep one at the very least for every 5/10 hours of gameplay or so.

4. We call the path of missing stuff the "red path". Apart from one specific choice, its content isn't noteworthy. There is some variation in dialogue and the story makes less sense. Save it for a second playthrough is my advice.

No, her story is very much in progress. It won't end until she reaches a point where Sensei can say he loves her. He did for a moment during her virginity loss when he flashed back to times new roman, but Sana broke that image of her, and she confessed during Nodokathon 2 that getting him to say that again is her only goal now.

Maybe your phone knows something we don't, and it's indicating that Nozomu actually wanted to be a girl all along.
Maybe it's a hereditary thing, which could explain the existence of Femboy Sensei, and how naturally he pull off crossdressing as Maya:
I thought I was going to spit out my beer

The less hustle way do go about it is guide mode. The downside that this is that you have to wait until it updates to play the new content.
The other way involves looking up wiki (on the from page, can look up event triggers and dependables without spoiling), there's even a page that sorts event names with corresponding updates so you can do them in order they came out.
If you do the latter, you gotta save a lot, hold off Chika's "Schadenfreude" until big even chain of the Beach happens in ch1, do Yumi's "Abyss" before Nodoka's "So Far Below" in ch2, raise Futaba's and Makoto's Lust to 50 (yes, really) before ch3. There's more, but the one's I mentioned are the most main the ass.

While most people wouldnt recommend it for new players, autovn mod makes it easy to get all events. You dont have to grind points or look up which order to play events.

But for your first time, using guide mod is the popular recommendation.

And missable events doesnt answer questions, it creates even more questions.

So, since the previous main topic of discussion seems to have pretty much run its course (for now), and since I (sadly) wasn’t here back in early November to participate in the original wave of debates regarding the hot new release of 0.53, I would like to briefly (?) return to that event chain and echo a sentiment I’ve only seen having been brought up by exactly two people: givemeabeer and DeSkel15 (sorry in advance if I accidentally misspelled anyone’s names). Because for me personally, the idea I struggled the most with after reading 0.53 was “why even bother creating this insanely well-written harem story where the protagonist has amazing (and different) chemistry with literally every single girl if you’re just going to blatantly come out and point at one of them as being ‘the objectively canon choice’ halfway through” (which was before I ever learned about the planned existence of Purity Routes, mind you) – and, after sitting on it for a couple of days, I believe that I *did* eventually come up with a decently satisfying answer for that question.

[Trigger warning: slight Himawari “hate” incoming.]

I like this a lot, it's a really solid take. I think you could rephrase this from "hate" to "pointing out that all characters have a bias and obviously Himawari is baised towards this outcome".

She is absolutely manipulating Akira into wanting this ending because, well, of course she would be. She wouldn't (? maybe?) exist without him and Ayane. She's loveable, adorable, and shows Akira a life where he's truly happy - even if this makes us, the readers, happy, it's still manipulation.

...And it worked on me! Go Ayane woo!

For what it's worth, i actually have been holding in stasis the idea that Himawari's plans are just another biased set of inputs, but i've not mentioned it cause it's simply too early to do anything with it, and i suspect a lot of other people are in a similar frame of mind... 'why mention it when it's far to early to make any substantial theories about it?'. Even what you've said is little more than a full breakdown of the idea as it currently stands... which is basically... it could be something... maybe...

Not disparaging you, just pointing out one way it could appear few people have thought of it, the absence of comment does not equal an absence of thought on the idea.
