Oddly enough, I only remember HOPE in chapter 1. I mean, that should be obvious. You can't exactly miss that thing. Also this is all news to me. Didn't think it was a seasonal thing but I think they said at some point that they switch out so maybe it's referring mostly to chapters.
Hmm, that makes sense. I knew those two were connected because of the moment I acknowledged the light getting brighter out of nowhere. I guess this is one of those cases where we aren't meant to feel bad for Karin, maybe even feel a bit... satisfied? From the start, she's been painted at this character living a perfect life. Popular, kind, athletic and talented, doesn't struggle with grades iirc, beautiful too. Her only flaw is how she can't handle men and the only bad thing she deals with is Kirin's jealousy. Maybe she will eventually realize that what he did really wasn't that bad since he let her go and it's really just a flaw with her for being so far behind. Of course, that would be more believable if his excuses aligned with her example when they were talking at the bench but I feel like he made himself look worse than he actually is. If you really want to justify his actions, you can just say it was a surprise sports wrestling move? But yeah, tackling someone isn't exactly inexcusable. But when you are used to a perfect trauma-free life, you get really upset with these tiny things. Happens all the time for me.
