This may be the first big koikatsu game that gets fully released, looks really hot, should I start it now or will there be any other updates?

So I was just wondering in the warning at the start of the game what are the events and storylines for characters that might upset people? If I am on the "light path" what kind of "upseting" themes can I expect (I get that dark path has many I am going to play light path only)? I don't mind being spoiled on these.
If it's the one after the prologue, it's a false choice. Not joining gives you a short ending, and automatically reverts you back to joining the organization.

Some players will thoroughly enjoy every single aspect of this game, even the "dark" side of the force... I mean the whores...
This game has quite a few characters, each with a different story. Some are funny, some absurd, some are normal, some romantic, while others are sad or depressing, and so forth.
MC starts out at the absolute bottom and slowly but surely changes throughout the game.
The "chill out and keep playing" is there because not everything is as it seems - which will become apparent the further one gets into the game.

Long story short, this game is very large and will take a while to get through. But by the end of it, it's a pretty fun ride that hopefully will trigger the player in both bad and good ways.
In general it's a subtle trigger warning: "If that happens, please just stay calm, try to chill out, and keep playing."

Which path should I take if I want harem ending?
Is there a harem ending on dark path?, I'm reading some comments and from what I gather on dark path is that there will be a rival and my MC will be in prison while he watch his women get fucked by his rival is there a way to avoid this ending on dark path?

That's the Gary ending. There's also a dark mostly harem ending where MC ends up the boss of the mansion and keeps business going. I haven't played the dark path, I just watched the dark ending through URM, so take what I say with a grain of salt. MC ends up with most of the girls in his harem. Some of them leave town, some of them have less than happy endings. MC also doesn't actually love most of them, family, Nina, maybe Elsa and maybe Chloe notwithstanding. There is a dark harem ending though.
