Why is it that such a good, positive dev gets stricken down, but the conniving, greedy, useless devs continue to thrive and leech off the community? God has left and the devil has taken over. No other way to look at it.

I would have to say no.
It would have been a really good game and there are a couple of scenes but it stops before it picks up properly so you'll be left disappointed.
Shame the game had to end up like this because the devs that picked it up were utterly fucking useless.

Seriously annoying IYAM. First, Chatter got screwed by that "been saved" dude who nuked tons of assets. Then (the worst for me) death came for him. And ultimately, to add a final slap, everyone was let down by the people Chatter trusted — that his widow trusted (or so they say) — to carry things on. They seem to have looked at like 3 people, said "Meh", and they scurried away from the project entirely. A damned shame.

That's the most frustrating thing.
Chatter made gold and was taking off but sadly things took a bad turn.
Then these idiots were handed a literal money printing game and completely fumbled it. They got handed a ready made money maker with a rapidly growing player base and managed to completely blow it.
I did feel for his widow. Bad enough she had to deal with all her own problem but then had to deal with village idiots that somehow talked Chatter into handing them the reigns.
The most frustrating thing about games like this isn't the adandoned tag it's the wasted potential. Some of these abandoned games were set to be big, hell, some of them already were. Then it's all just gone.

I know some people who'd love to continue this game but sadly there are no assets available and I don't think the ones who have them right now are willing to provide them either. Getting someone to build them from scratch would cost too much. Loved this game. RIP.
