Nothing, that's the problem.
Chatter handed his work over to them and trusted them to finish what he couldn't when he passed away and these losers did nothing.
There have been only 2 times i've been genuinely angry on these forums. One was with some prick who wanted ntr in a game, got told no then harassed the dev and his family to the point the dev had to quit to keep them safe.
Then there is this.
Reason being me and Chatter had a bit of a disagreement a bit before he passed. I got a bit mocky on here and he said something on his discord that was a bit out of order and things got heated.
We talked after that, made up. We chatted quite a bit. He was excited for the future of the game and the people he'd trusted to carry it on. Then the people he'd trusted did nothing with an already popular game that wouldn't have taken much to make work and let him down.
I remember how happy he was to know something he created would carry on after he was gone.

Oh damn, I just now read about the developer dying. Now I feel bad about giving the game a 3 star rating because it was abandoned. A huge pity, this was a very promising start and the final game would most likely have been excellent.

I wouldn't feel too badly about it. Firstly, a rating is just a rating and reflects how you feel. Secondly, the asshats that "took over" the game did absolutely nothing with it, despite apparently having copious notes from Chatterbox on plans for the plot and how everything was intended to progress. So a bad rating at least somewhat reflects the death of the game at the hands of dumbasses who never should've come within 300 meters of this game in the first place.

It deserves the stars for getting abandoned, it wasn't the original devs passing that caused the game to be dropped.
The issue was he picked entirely the wrong people to carry on his game and they fucked it all up badly.
