That's quite an aggressive and uncalled-for approach to the events. The rest of the team didn't ran with the 'money' (here you assuming it was a substantial amount and not just a week's worth of groceries'), they just didn't have the necessary time/skill/funding to continue the project with the quality that would live up to their late friend/boss' fame.

There is no need for this arrogant, childish behaviour. At some point you need to mature.
Within weeks of GamersGlory taking over, the pledge levels were doubled to finance the supposed team required to work on the game. With the lowest tier becoming $10/month, how could it not be seen as a money grab? If the money were still going to Chatterbox's family at that point, I wouldn't have balked as much, but from what I recall, all pledges by then were going to GG.

Yeah, I don't give a fuck. They talked themselves up how they were going to "save" the project and finish the game and give money to his widow, more people started to support it and then they disappeared. If they weren't up to the task they shouldn't have announced that they were going to take it on in the first place.

Then they shouldn't have agreed to take it over.

They were given a built in player base, a game that would turn a profit and all the help Chatter could give them before he passed.

They talked big and then went on to develop a whopping fuck all.

This isn't just a game that deserved better, Chatter also deserved better. He started a game that people still love to this day and the ones he trusted to carry it on just shit the bed.

People around back then knows me and Chatter had a personal issue but we managed to squash it and during those chats he heaped praise on the guys taking it over and was happy about the games future.

They let him down.

How many threads of abandoned games actually get closed, though? Why are you wondering about this one? If it's because of the discussion yet again about GamersGlory and the Clueless Crew, mods can just clean that up if they feel it's gotten too sloppy. View attachment 4419455
as far as i know 0 (1 thread had posting privileges removed from all due what was posted but later returned).

as of why because thread gets off topic quickly and this has 0 chance to come back, orig dev is pushing daisies and those who got everything from orig. don't want to continue.

Right, but in the (yes, I know, very unlikely) event someone wants to talk about the game itself and not about how a shitty dev team fumbled this game, having this thread would be the place to do that. I don't see any reason to close the game thread. I mean, you could always just unwatch it, right?

and miss the fun? was more thinking mods workload.

One of the few AVNs where the MC's daughter just... stays the MC's daughter and doesn't become anything more.
cause pregnancy is usually late game stuff and on 1 game's epilogue daughter is introduced to daddy's dick much much later and same thing with his sorta granddaughters.

I never once thought that the MC would bang his daughter in this game. I never saw anything even implying that. Lexi, Kaylee, and Sarah? Absolutely. Chloe? Nah.
