then i hope somebody can carry on this game, BEST GAME I EVER HAD !!
can't for a reason stated above aka copyrights etc belong to those who bought this from chatter's widow.

also as stated like a million times before it wouldn't be same game w/o chatter's manuscript and assets so better just move on and make a new game and not trying to revive this w/o any idea what was planned.

This is why it's a bad idea to stretch a game's development out too long, you will die before you finish it.

once again (orig. post got deleted): this had barely started when chatterbox died so no stretching. cb got bad luck and that's it.

next time check the facts before posting bs.

Developers, please finish this game, it has great potential. It's sad to see how much work a person has spent in vain. Add NTR with BDSM and there will be fire (y)

The dev is dead, the "team" that was supposed to finish it took the money and ran.
That's quite an aggressive and uncalled-for approach to the events. The rest of the team didn't ran with the 'money' (here you assuming it was a substantial amount and not just a week's worth of groceries'), they just didn't have the necessary time/skill/funding to continue the project with the quality that would live up to their late friend/boss' fame.

There is no need for this arrogant, childish behaviour. At some point you need to mature.

While neither Subscribestar or Patreon show any subscriber counts or total support, SS does show a tiny amount of progress on a goal. That's probably only one person giving some spare change, and iirc gamersglory said that money goes to the widow.

Within weeks of GamersGlory taking over, the pledge levels were doubled to finance the supposed team required to work on the game. With the lowest tier becoming $10/month, how could it not be seen as a money grab? If the money were still going to Chatterbox's family at that point, I wouldn't have balked as much, but from what I recall, all pledges by then were going to GG.

Yeah, I don't give a fuck. They talked themselves up how they were going to "save" the project and finish the game and give money to his widow, more people started to support it and then they disappeared. If they weren't up to the task they shouldn't have announced that they were going to take it on in the first place.

Then they shouldn't have agreed to take it over.

They were given a built in player base, a game that would turn a profit and all the help Chatter could give them before he passed.

They talked big and then went on to develop a whopping fuck all.

This isn't just a game that deserved better, Chatter also deserved better. He started a game that people still love to this day and the ones he trusted to carry it on just shit the bed.

People around back then knows me and Chatter had a personal issue but we managed to squash it and during those chats he heaped praise on the guys taking it over and was happy about the games future.

They let him down.
