everyone knows goblins/orcs are just thinly veiled raceplay anyway, it's not even like they're "monsters" in any meaningful sense
i hate to tell you this homeslice - i don't - but it was satire. comedy, if you will. then again i've been told i suck at it so maybe that didn't come across? who knows, ya'll take shit so seriously on here it's wild.I feel like you are projecting some things here. I'm not proud of my life circumstances, simply pointing out you don't need to be an incel to be in to prego games. The reference to the site is I have far, far more important things to spend money on, which is why I like the free games here. As for the pullout game, you're assuming I meant to do so lol. One was an ex-wife on a honeymoon many years ago and the current is the new wife. Not every person here is in their teens/20's either.
i mean i kind of agree with him. about the orcs, not goblins. the only thing humanish about them is they have ten fingers, ten toes, and that's it.View attachment 5446668
Don't be an idiot like the Extra Credits guy. I want to give you some benefit of the doubt about greenskins being thrown into the "monster" tag category since their placement in that category makes about as much sense as putting a furry under the same banner (imagine a "fantasy races" tag that could also include Elves & Dwarves), but not if you're ragebaiting like this.
jesus christ m8 that's some dumbdumb piss takes there. If anyone misconstrues simple things such as fantasy species into IRL counterparts that's some delusion.i mean i kind of agree with him. about the orcs, not goblins. the only thing humanish about them is they have ten fingers, ten toes, and that's it.
orcs are just really muscly guys or girls with tusks and, sometimes, green skin - yes, i do say sometimes, because i've played enough hentai games to say that not all orcs are created green.
then again it could be argued elves are just as bad. they're typically just really busty women or handsome men with slightly pointed - or exaggeratedly pointed - ears. humans with pointy ears. wow. how monstrous.
same with dwarves. oh no, short people. run for the hills! or better yet, climb some stairs! not really monstrous, but like you said that lack of a fantasy races tag means the monster tag pulls some fucking weight let me tell you.
funnily enough, putting a furry under that banner is monstrous, because they're not human. hell, they barely resemble a human, and sure we have the furry tag but is a werewolf a furry or a monster? i'd say a monster, even if diehard furries will say otherwise.
so:
goblins? monsters.
orcs? depends on their art direction, but ninety percent of the time no.
elves? come on, really?
dwarves? midgets with engineering tech trees maxed out.
harpies? finally, something a bit monstrous.
werewolves? monstrous without a doubt (fuck off furries you guys anthropomorphised pokemon to fuck them, you have no rights).
Minotaurs? same as werewolves (no, seriously, fuck off furries you guys ruin fucking everything you touch with your greasy little unwashed fursuit-covered paws)
lamia? again, depends on the art direction but yes.
driders? oh, definitely. you can try all you want, but you have to acknowledge when you're pulling the fattest wristies to a hot drider lady that you're whacking off to fifty percent spider.
scylla? without a doubt, monstrous
so what have we learned from this? a fantasy tag would entirely invalidate the actual monsters and therefore the monster tag, and the fault doesn't lie with the tags, but with the creators that take stupid liberties with what qualifies as a monster.

Also you seem to hate furries, I get that - makes me glad I'm a hmofa guy & it's quite liberating. Humans are superior anyway.

It is censored. Just not that much.Seems censored to me. The status window and CG seems to be covered up with mosiacs
No, just 1.you can't have multiple saves?
It would've been better if it was RPGMaker. Libcocos2d is a piece of shit engine, its a bunch of hacks on top of hacks but still basically a web page wrapped in a browser engine, so the hacks are meaningless as theres no performance improvement coming out of it, and on top of it it sacrifices the main advantage and reason browser+webpage is used as a game engine at all - cross platform compatibility. Imagine all the disadvantages of a browser+webpage engine (low performance, many layers of abstraction so you can't reach too deep below into shaders or rendering) plus none of the advantages that other engines like RPGMaker preserved (cross platform compatibility) and you get libcocos2d. It is such a pile of shit that its still even a 32 bit executable! I haven't seen a real 32 bit executable for years! 64 bit was a thing for over two decades now! Finally a game posted in here that not made with AI or RPG maker + AI
World of Warcraft really did a number on the collective psyche. They needed an evil enemy in a fantasy setting so they used orcs. Then they wanted people to play for that evil so they dialed back on evil and made them honorable savages. And so the orcs turned from a spirit of evil embodied in tortured mortal flesh, to just weird looking nomadic people with a honor code like bushido.i mean i kind of agree with him. about the orcs, not goblins. the only thing humanish about them is they have ten fingers, ten toes, and that's it.

How can you tell if a game is programmed by AI? Not talking about art here, unless that's what you meant. Finally a game posted in here that not made with AI or RPG maker + AI
They (likely Metzen) copied the way Star Trek evolved Klingons. They went from an always-violent evil monster race to a culture that is obsessed with honor and glory in battle.World of Warcraft really did a number on the collective psyche.
