Finally! Thanks aton man... Just hope it doesn't lag because the recent ports i've tried with the latest version keeps lagging and crashing thats why i haven't played it yet

It appears steam version doesn't launch on my pc (fr) ..any ideas?

Yes, there have been a few posts on this if it doesn't launch for you.

2. Game does not launch, no output to cmd either
This seems to be an issue in renpy, It seems to assume that presplash images (or only presplash_background) are smaller than screen resolution, which results in it sending negative value to another function that cant handle it

In my case, I use 1280x1024, and the LISC\game\presplash_background.png file is 1778x1000, renaming the file or resizing it below screen resolution resulted in the game launching successfully

Found the cause by launching the game using python

Hope you’re all having an awesome week! I’m back after the Steam release madness. What a ride that was. Now it’s time to shift gears and talk about what’s next: the first update for Season 2!

The good news? Most of the update is already done. The even better news? I’m planning to enrich the content even more and push the animations to the next level. Expect more detail, more personality, and a whole lot more spice.

I’ll be sharing this update with you sometime next month, and I think you’re gonna love where it’s headed.

Also, starting this week, we’re kicking off a series of themed giveaways exclusively for patrons on Discord! Each one will have a unique vibe, some fun rewards, and maybe even a few surprises

The developer was going to release a detailed changelog between versions.
The first page doesn't say a word about the rewritten prologue, the rewritten relationships, the presence of a mini-game... but they exist. Besides, we still don't know if the steam version will be the unified for everyone.

Aside for the rewitten story and new renders to accomodate workplace vs 'university' there isnt a difference in the sex scenes (thoughfirst sex scenes tone has changes has 1 extra anim (boob squish)) oh and tehy adding moaning to the scenes.. otherwise yeah no extra spicy content as already said multiple times.

Make double sure you install the mod properly. There's no errors in the mod, so you shouldn't get any.

I'm getting the same problem, with the label cheater defined twice. The issue seems to be in script.rpy where you have this sequence starting at line 128:

    scene black with dissolve
    "[sdgreen]MOD:{/color} Would you like to cheat a little, and boost your Charisma and intimidation points?"
    menu cheater:
        "Hell yeah!! [sdlove](Charisma +5, intimidation +5)":
            $ intimidation += 5
            $ charisma += 5
        "Nah, I'm good.":
            pass

and this starting at line 173:

Yeah I noticed this in the code, odd to me because I never got thestartlisc on first run (mind you i installed the mod first, and yeah that whole narrative didnt happen.

Strange you're getting the error though because the labels are diffrent, the menu name can be repeated as long as diffrent labels, plus even if renpy shenanigans it's we should have same version since it's self contained in the game.. unless ofc your extracting the game folder and using your own renpy launcher. Anyways, to answer you, the menu name change shouldnt result in any errors no.

I downloaded the mod from MEGA, extracted the "game" folder from the zip file into the main folder where the game is ("something\something\LISC-Season-1-Steam-market"), and chose "Replace" when asked about duplicate files. That's how pretty much all the mods here are installed. Should I have done something different?

I did find another thing though. I have a cheat file that I routinely add to any game I download here, with the following code:

init +1:
    python hide:
        config.developer = True
        config.rollback_enabled = True

Removing "config.developer = True" from that made things work. I can see that script.rpy has some commented-out code that would activate a debug mode if config.developer is true, so there may be something in some other file that does the same and then wants to run both startlisc and intro_lc. And of course, if I don't have developer mode enabled I can't access the console or variable viewer to deal with in-game annoyances – I can access the console if I change it to "config.console = True", but then I can't see what the variables are via the variable viewer.

Why not use URM which has a lot of features for monitoring variables, and doesn't mess with anything else?

Not that I am aware of, I think this is just a "hey, I'm working on Season 2 now thing". They said in a Patreon comment that they would make a detailed post about what differences there would be a couple of days ago.

Hopefully they didn't forget.

I will wait for the dev to clarify if he is going to just work on the steam version from now on or if there will be significant differences between the patreon and steam versions. But I think I will just end up dropping the game. I think it started great but he has been changing way too many things. It doesn't even feel like the same game anymore.

It does lag for me on sex scenes.Even though i have 8 gb phone.Patreon version wasn't laggy but steam version for some reason lags.
