I do not think it is abandoned too much good content to be abandoned i think updates will only get slower this is the trend seems.

It's only marked abandoned due to the 3-month inactivity on Patreon rule. The last devlog they said they would not have much of anything to say until they are nearing completion of the next Season since they are no longer accepting donations on Patreon and it would only be turned on if the need arises.
I wouldn't worry too much; this developer also lives in Turkey with lots of instability as well, they have a long history of being absent for very long stretches and coming back. The secondary developer and main tester are still active in Discord.

If all the promises are true, they need at least a couple of years to make the second part, because the first took 4 years. 2 years is a very long period enough for team dissolution.

It's easy to understand. If you consider game production as a career, you'll inevitably have to go through the process of transitioning to a formal studio, and a short-term loss of income is unavoidable.
Unless you are like that well-known "Beggar of Net" and a few other habitual offenders, using sweet words and Patreon donations to milk players, while being lazy and squandering.

I’m not really following the dev, but my guess is he might’ve gone to do his mandatory military service. It usually takes about six months, so that could be the case — just my guess though.

They just posted yesterday in Discord, they've been working on it and going to share details in the coming days and also release it...

I literally told all of you after the steam release it was all over. This dev has been having major issues releasing new content for the game before. Then he announces they are making a steam release aka a cash grab. It takes months and they release the game on steam and its a neutered version, and nothing new was added. The steam release was either a cash grab for them, or as a way to try and get more money to hire people. The lack of updates on a new game strongly suggest cash grab.
