Should not Moody abandon his patreon page if he is so deeply involved in polishing the steam version?

Season 2 will be going to Patreon, so doesn't really matter how much they polish Season 1. Season 2 will take years to complete anyway.

What are you talking about ? This game was really good, then the dev took forever to get a few updates out. Then he takes months hyping up the steam release and its absolute trash. There is nothing new and a lot of stuff removed to make it steam friendly. That is not a net positive, that is a net negative. If you think there is going to be a season 2, i have some bridges I would like to sell to you as well. People need to wise up, this dev made a steam release to get one more payday.

That is not counting all the money they have made on the steam version, just shameful.

If patreon forced devs to make new content before they could get paid, 90% of the these devs would go bankrupt.

From the very beginning this game was developed with incest in mind, clearly. You can easily see it in how the characters act toward one another. They have to know Steam doesn't care, right? I'm guessing they want both sources of income, Steam AND Patreon. So since Patreon doesn't tolerate it, the incest has to go. I'm not a die hard incest lover or anything, but this situation sucks. This game doesn't make sense without it. I've really enjoyed it, even with the previous rewrites/works. But I won't be playing this Steam version going forward. I really hope the dev reconsiders this move.

I was replying to a new player. Way I see it, no need to pass on your soured grapes unto others. Let 'em have their own experience. If the comment about you bonding because you came got your panties in a twist then all I have to say is grow up an recognize it, this is what makes it worse.

That said, I fully agree the story has been butchered. Even if you are a new player, many things won't make sense.
- Rose calling you her college student.. wait a minute whaaatt?
- Charlotte Arc. The whole of it. Shes there with you.. Then then she's acting like it's been years since she's smelled mom? Not to mention the attic where she's been chillin in since day 1 now suddnly her stiffs all gone and she wants you to convince mom to move in there? Then we havinga dinner thats hyped up to celebrate a return that didnt happen and the dinner in the version DOESNT happen.

Many many more things but yeah they screwed the fucking pooch. That said, I still think for fresh players it's best they give it a shot. Why? Not because they'll be blown away by an excellent story (devs gone and fucked that), however I still think there are moments where the sexual tension and the beautiful renders/anims make for excellent art. There's great moments, and I think they make it worth it.

Would I buy this? Hell nah. I'd be kinda pissed if I did because it seem butchered with glaring storyline issues even for a casual reader. But as a pirate, I can mumble grumble, but at end of day I did have some good release and there's some sexy likeable characters.

Hey, I know this might not matter to a lot of you, but I just want to get this off my chest. After a lot of thinking, I’ve decided to stop working on my incest mod for this game. It's been on my mind for a while now, and after seeing the state of the game when it was released on Steam, I really wanted to quit. The only thing holding me back was feeling like it’d be kind of “rude” or something to just walk away.

To make a version of the mod I’d actually be happy with, I’d pretty much would have to rewrite the whole game from the ground up, and honestly, it’s just not worth it to me anymore. I know the mod wasn’t perfect, and I know I didn’t put in as much effort on it recently, but I hope you guys still enjoyed it in some way.

The bottom line is, I’ve lost interest in working on mod for a game that’s basically dead to me now. I’d rather focus on things I actually enjoy, like practicing my music and mixing skills. I’m sorry if this is disappointing to some of you, but it’s just where I’m at right now.

A very abrupt and careless sanitization of the character's original relationships to the point that the situations no longer make sense. Dialogue suffers greatly in some instances. All in the name of trying to bypass censors to stay on the store shelves that are at eye-level with kids.

TLDR; Don't play the original version if you haven't already.

Had they rendered the dinner, I think it would have been possible to cut her out at begining and restore the story somewhat but alas it is what it is.

The incest itself is an undertaking. For as long as I can I'll try maintaining what you've started and I'll keep the main mod in your honor. That said, I know how my own life changes on a dime soby the time another real update comes around who knows what kind of time I'll have on my hands.

Had they rendered the dinner, I think it would have been possible to cut her out at begining and restore the story somewhat but alas it is what it is.

Haha, no worries at all about the response, we all been there at some point. I really appreciate your words, and you willing to kept working on the mod despite life curveballs, that's mean a lot.
