What is the difference between the Steam and Patreon version?

Hey, I know this might not matter to a lot of you, but I just want to get this off my chest. After a lot of thinking, I’ve decided to stop working on my incest mod for this game. It's been on my mind for a while now, and after seeing the state of the game when it was released on Steam, I really wanted to quit. The only thing holding me back was feeling like it’d be kind of “rude” or something to just walk away.

To make a version of the mod I’d actually be happy with, I’d pretty much would have to rewrite the whole game from the ground up, and honestly, it’s just not worth it to me anymore. I know the mod wasn’t perfect, and I know I didn’t put in as much effort on it recently, but I hope you guys still enjoyed it in some way.

The bottom line is, I’ve lost interest in working on mod for a game that’s basically dead to me now. I’d rather focus on things I actually enjoy, like practicing my music and mixing skills. I’m sorry if this is disappointing to some of you, but it’s just where I’m at right now.

I dont know I have directly played the Steam version and it got me hooked. Not sure what I am missing but the steam version seems good enough. Should I be playing the older version? is there any difference in story or other things?

A very abrupt and careless sanitization of the character's original relationships to the point that the situations no longer make sense. Dialogue suffers greatly in some instances. All in the name of trying to bypass censors to stay on the store shelves that are at eye-level with kids.

TLDR; Don't play the original version if you haven't already.

While understandable, it certainly is a shame. The story though has really taken a beating and some parts (particularly charlotte arc) is beaten beyond what is really salvageable story-wise. Had they rendered the dinner, I think it would have been possible to cut her out at begining and restore the story somewhat but alas it is what it is.

The incest itself is an undertaking. For as long as I can I'll try maintaining what you've started and I'll keep the main mod in your honor. That said, I know how my own life changes on a dime soby the time another real update comes around who knows what kind of time I'll have on my hands.

Thanks what you've done and created, and perhaps you'll take it up again who knows. Also, I think more people care that you realize as your mod has been download a couple thousand times lol Good work.

Haha, no worries at all about the response, we all been there at some point. I really appreciate your words, and you willing to kept working on the mod despite life curveballs, that's mean a lot. Just no pressure. Just the fact that you're willing to keep it alive for now is more than I or anyone else could ask for. Thanks again for the kind words.

I'd like to preface by saying this is meant to be an appreciation update to SweatyDevil 's Mod. Not at all done in malice but as rather a token of thanks.

What started as quick modifications for myself like making the walkthrough dynamically togglable, then small punctuation/capitalization fixes to the patch.. Grew once I saw several people whine about wincest and was suckered into doing the if/else statements. Part of me wishes for that time back. Holy hell. I understand why SweatyDevil was like "nahh, I'm good." Anyways after a few hours of copy pasting >.< I now have no choice but to share with you all kek.

All credit to SweatyDevil, without his mod I wouldn't have bothered. (Though, I likely woulda made a dirty patch for myself to avoid the cringe Chloe "So you think it's normal, two friends having sex with each other?" )

Anyways all power to SweatyDevil he can roll this in to his mod, adapt and change it to his liking or ignore it.
No intention on competing or anything, again just wanting to enhance user experience for all in the same way the game has been enhanced for me with his mod.

The renders in this game are spectacular and it be a shame for the crummy writing to get in the way of people being able to enjoy this game.

Hope people find the small changes decent.

Note2: I have yet to finish the game lol so if I've made mistakes by bad but I'll totally blame SD cause its based on his mod kekekeke. I kid lol. Just overwrite with sd's mod if in doubt he actively maintaining his mod good lad

Thats correct. I have no intention to makemy edit for teh patreon at this time, because it seems like the steam version is the one that will be moving forward. Unless the Dev reverts course and keeps old charlotte during S2 Production.. but I think that's unlikely.

What you'd need to do is use SweatyDevil's Mod , while he mentioned not maintaining anymore his mod still currently works for Steam and Patreon. For patreon just choose the patreon (Old Version v0.11) one as the code is quite different.

Steam doesn't allow certain content to be on their platform, like incest for example. Since they have to adhere to laws and regulations.

Hence why studios tend to clean up some of their content before releasing on Steam.

Patreon also tends to have weird quirks, while Subscribestar is just the wild wild west

Jesus again with the steam doesn't allow incest..yes they do. They even allow games with rape.

Patreon is the one that doesn't allow even the implication of incest or rape.


Quick search on Steam games titles and you find "Incest ", "Ara ara Auntie incest", "Incest Story: Sister", "Incest tales Sister and Mom", "Family Breeding" etc.
