A wall of text just to say the release at the end of January won’t happen.Devlog #35 And BETA ANNONCEMENT

Hey, greetings! It's been a while since we chatted.
We had a lot on our plate, and we didn't want any distractions, so we've been heads down just getting the work done. For about 3 months straight, we've been creating scenes and rendering non-stop. During this time, we were aiming to build the Sandbox version and ideally, craft the entire game.
We wrapped up the Sandbox build just the other day. As you know, we're working on a fluid sandbox game without grind. However, this meant that our existing scenes were quite lacking. We revisited about half of the scenes, made additions, created entirely new sequences, and expanded the story in a way that allows for better storytelling. The end product looked amazing, but there was a serious issue.
Given that the game used to follow a classic VN style, sometimes telling the same day, the transition to a Sandbox genre made relationships and stories progress quite rapidly. We needed to insert new sequences and story additions, but since we added them later, they would never be as good as the original. So, without disrupting the characters' stories, we reworked the plotlines. We created thousands of new scenes and added a bunch of fun and sexy new events.
Yet, if you're making a sandbox, have a map, and aren't adding grind, you need to fill your map with content. We still have a lot of scenes to create for the Open world build. We want to release it as a full game because we genuinely worked on it for months without a break, so we want to avoid making mistakes.
While bringing the game to such a good point, we didn't overlook one of the most crucial aspects, the interface. We've started working with a fantastic interface designer and a talented artist for the map.
Once these additions are done, we'll need an extensive beta testing period, as it has become an entirely new, massive game. However, we also want to release new content to you without further delay. So, we're releasing the new update once again as a VN. In this update, we applied a rework to the Prologue and EP1, implementing a new writing style due to the complete change in the writing and scenario in the sandbox build.
This update focuses on Iris, Lauren, and Chloe. We're also adding some of the reworked scenes for the new build to the game.
-Prologue and EP1 scenario and IRIS story flow have been updated. Additions were made, and the writing was changed.
-Prologue Karen sequence was updated.
-All school scenes were updated.
-Jasmine was reworked. (In the Openworld build, she has her own route entirely.)
-Iris sequence was added.
-Lauren-Chloe sequence was added.
The testing period for the VN version will be quite short. Additionally, we'll release the Openworld build shortly after version 0.9. With the Open world build, we have something we want to do. We'll continue updating both the VN version and the Sandbox version. Since we can provide regular updates for the sandbox build each month, we'll be bringing significant updates to the VN version at regular intervals.
For now, that's about it.
In the first week of the new month, we'll kick off the beta testing process.
Delayed. What a surprise
