Note: Unlike the fan mod, this patch does not alter the script at all. If you previously used the fan mod (the one that fucked with the ages and relationships of the characters), you may run into conflicts. If so, then just get a fresh copy of the game with the original script file.

with 30-somethings still living together (not unheard of but weird) it's no wonder the ages in the other patch were lowered by 5-10 years to be more believable. Wish the dev would just use age and relationship setters like everyone else with similar stories, let the reader decide who the pussies he's fucking are attached to and their ages.

I'm happy this game development goes on! I really love it and it would have been a shame if the dev had abandoned it.

I'd say the living situation is more common than you think depending on your income, and it's pretty well established so far that the MC and his family aren't making a whole lot of money. As far as the ages, I think the way they're written is more believable than how you envision the characters. MC fathered Emily when he was in high school, as was explained at the end of this update. He would have been 16 years old. I doubt there's a single person here that doesn't remember at least one guy becoming a dad in high school. There's a lot of young moms and dads out there so MC's situation is not out of the ordinary.

Bottom line, You don't need to rewrite the story. Let the dev tell his story the way he wants. It's written the way it is for a reason.
