That's a baseless statement saying that the US hates all things Japanese. I know it's the people on social media and the loud ones that talk the most shit about it the most, but a lot of people I know don't outright hate Japanese things.
I'm from the US and love a lot of Japanese things. I watch more anime than any shit that Hollywood or otherwise would put out.
I dislike western RPGs there's always some exceptions but for the most part I play JRPGs primarily.
I like the culture and would love to go live there someday, but knowing their stance on outsiders I think I'll just stay in the US, most of the world hates Americans anyway.
