VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Life with Mary [v1.0.2 Final] [LikesBlondes]

Mary is the best female character in any of adult games that i've played. I really like what the team behind this game is trying to achieve: natural pace and believable situations.

If you don't have bias against vanilla games then consider to give LwM a chance. This one is special.

I normally don't say much but this game has just blown me away. The story is great even if sometimes it feels a little slow but I don't mind that at all. The characters are really fleshed out and you get a personality of each one. The artwork is really great.

This game has one of the most adorable girls I have ever seen in these kind of games. The chemistry between her and the MC and other characters is just brilliant.

My only criticism is, that you barely can influence the story. Your choices only drive her out of your life (game over) or you follow the plot. With 1-2 alternative paths this could be so much better for a 2nd or 3rd playthrough, but I understand that this would exponentially increase the work that's needed to get the story done.

As a more or less linear story with great characters and a really well written story, this is just a good game and its really enjoyable.

This is a good game but the folks that are giving 5 stars are tripping.
Renders 5/5: Beautiful, specially the backgrounds. The character models are also very nice.
Story 3/5: Not original at all, its the typical girl lives with guy and they hook up. Choice are kind of obvious, so there might be no choice at all. There are some funny bits, Mary's dad is probably the best character in the game and the other character's including the MC who is fucking his daughter (because he is in love, weak shit) treat him badly.
Girls 3/5: Mary is basically an idiot princess, she is hot but she is entitled and boring. There are a few other girls, mainly the Mary's BBF and Mary's Mom. They are all hot, so I'll give the creator that.
Sex 3/5: Slow burn sex, a few nudes here, a few BJS there and eventually...some sex with Mary and only Mery (for now, hopefully?). No animations, the scenes are rather short for the most part.

All and all this is a 'GOOD' game, but its nowhere close to 5 starts as of yet. Keep up the good work dude.

Reviewed against 0.35. Very enjoyable story. The plot is very linear insofar you get asked very few questions which offer up deviation from the given path however I actually found myself enjoying it. Sure I usually like more input to my stories but overall it was fun.

Pacing of the story is also very good, not too in your face so if that's what you're after then you may be a bit disappointed.

Graphics are good, a nice change from the general templates floating about at the moment. I look forward to seeing more.

Absolutely love this game. First off the graphics are amazing. Gives it a realistic feel visually. Secondly, the story line. A few shocking moment and some you didn't expect. Makes the game one of the greats on F95 and definitely a game to lookout for. Only thing I can honest "That's it for Now" - to be continued screen. The wait for the next update kills you with anticipation, but makes for a better game because you don't know how far the next episode is going to go. Absolutely, a favorite of mine since day one.

I really enjoy playing this game. It has good scenes and a good story. It also proves that you don't need incest to create a game like this. I like playing games where you can have different women but that should be known from the start of the game. Games like this should be about the special relationship of the MC and Mary and so far it is.

I like how scenario is going. Dialogues are great and whole story as well. Amazing game with great visual part - renders are really great. Decidion making interesting as well. And i love Ren'Py format of games. Game without incest and "fuck every thing you see" which is good. Try for yourself.

I have enjoyed the story and artwork. I get excited every time I see a new update come out. I love that it is not a quick to action story, but also that it isn't one that lingers on forever to get to see how things start to pan out.

This started out really well. In fact it was enjoyable up to the point where i realized it was full on rails. It's not a terrible thing, but you're really mostly along for the ride. You get the irritating, nosy "best friend" that is a negative influence to Mary and of course you just listen to her run her mouth without being able to say a thing (no choices) just nod and agree to nearly everything, or when you do get to say something back it's already preset for you. I don't feel like i have many choices and that bugs me. Fyi this is not criticism, this is simply someone who decided to try it out sharing his opinion. And yet i still think it deserves at least 4 * for the fact the story feels like a love story, and that much i like.

This is a refreshing AVN ; as it concentrates on the story rather than the adult content - very well written,thoughtful character development,great story arc and excellent models and illustrations - outstanding work - developers like these need support so that they can keep producing fine work like this..

Great little game with a more vanilla setting than most, well done budding romance between two people of different ages.

Characters 5/5 - From the titular character Mary, down to your old ex, every character so far seems charming and realistic, no one is a negative stereotype of an overused trope, or a perfect being with no faults.

Story 5/5 - Engaging story, a budding romance done RIGHT! Some might find it vanilla or boring/bland, but it's a breath of fresh air to have a game with no real fetish, People aren't trying to NTR the crap out of you, and your character isn't chasing every skirt either.

Models/Graphics 5/5 - Mary is cute as a button, and slightly on the thin side as opposed to most games with perfect 10/10 girls with exaggerated "assets". The main character is actually attractive for a change, and doesn't look like either a douchebag or a rapist... The other females are stunning, to the point you admire the MC for staying faithful to Mary with such goddesses hanging around.

Just download and play. Trust me.

The main girl is just adorable. She's cute, pure, jealous, funny, and dare I say, the second best girl of every adult game ever created (losing only for Sylvie from Teaching Feelings).
I've never felt more immersed on an adult game before. She's so real that I really think it was an actual girl who wrote her lines. Everything about her is so natural and polished.

I sincerely don't think I'll ever feel the same pleasure with any other adult games ever again. Other girls just seem soulless compared to Mary. They might as well turn into cardboard cutouts at this point. The amount of life put into Mary is almost unfair with other developers. I'm reconsidering all my pledges on Patreon after playing this game.

Very linear story, but very well written. I appreciate that the relationship was built up to and not immediate, which is a very original here. The MC and Mary are both very lovable and sweet characters. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys good writing and progressive story arcs.

classic but amazing story. I'd only suggest this for romantic people, you clearly see that's what the devs want to portray.

The story progress slowly and logically there is no surreal situations, all the scenes adds up to build the relationship between the MCs.

Few porn scenes (as of 0.3) but as stated previously that's not the real focus of the game IMO.

i loved the game.
one of my favorites so far.
renders are not so bad and size of the game is small, which is good.
the girl is hot, i couldn't manage to get laid yet, maybe there is none for now, but i couldn't manage to hit her friend either.
either way, i liked the game so far and looking forward to next updates.

beautiful graphics, Great animations, Amazing writing/ dialogue imho, for those who read it's like trying to put down the newest release in your favorite series, keeps you wanting for more. there's humor, romance, passion and even a little mild suspense, Give it a try!

This is literally a visual novel. There are choices in the game but they are few and fairly easy to get right. I really love the game for how it is slowly progressing and yet you get some really sexy scenes. I also like that this isn't an incest game and that the game centers around one character to develop a real relationship with while other characters are still there and are used nicely to decorate the story line.

While I like the setup and story overall. It needs more choices / role-play elements. Having multiple endings instead of a straight linear path.

Other than that, the graphics are well done. And like I said earlier, I like the story.

Many reasons to like this game but mainly for me is the innocence and sensuousness of it.
Graphics are really good, lighting and camera angles. Story has me intrigued. It's comparable to some other games on F95 of similar feel but it stands apart from them also.
I measure a very good game in the "when is the next update" feel I get when playing something good.

Of course it helps if the models are all hot looking.
