By design if the child is not the player's, then start with 18 age (my guess because the 'childcare' action chain).
Also I reported long time ago in the bugfix channel (but why if this still unfixed?) a bug about the other condition there. The mother can be giving more birth than one child but this condition's syntax is wrong: 'Actor:fertility'. The 'fertility' parameter used exclusively the player, so it must be replaced to 'Actor:fertility_npc' to be correct and conditions has chance to be meets.
Honestly the problem I have with this game is the bugs it doesn't need any more content it only needs for the bugs to be fixed

that would be awesome. add a mod to collect the undergarment of every victim as memento too. we need trophies to admire our own handiwork. lots of varieties if possible! lol
I have a weird bug where the changes to my characters Fitness don't actually affect anything, like their sex stamina. I'm currently using the remake mod and everything else seems to work well. Is there a way to fix this? Manually changing the stat does nothing in the "Edit Stats" section. I made a new save where I started with 100 fitness and the stat did change appropiately.

Anyone here knows Vinfamy in real life? No not to chase him on the updates. Just want to know if he is ok. Have known him through the game for a couple of years after all. So he isn't entirely a stranger. I hope he is ok. The world is going through a strange time after all.

Which is a fair bit after his last Patreon announcement. Hopefully it's just the hodge podge pregnancy code giving him more trouble than it'd be worth otherwise
It's likely that it just turned up to be more troublesome to fix the pregnancy system and it just takes more time than anticipated.
It's better that he takes his time and ensures the update is tested and working properly rather than possibly releasing another update that just adds more bugs.

Don't forget that Vin has a job on the side, which probably takes up a lot of his time. Many games on F95 only have a update every 2-3 months, some others have a maximum of 2 updates per year for a content that's not that substantial (hello AWAM).
I know it's a pain to not hear some news from Vin, and like me, many of you are hoping for this new update because you really appreciate Lifeplay.. And rather than criticizing him, go to his discord and thank him for the solo projects he's developed (which many of you have forgotten).
As long as Vin doesn't say that the game is abandoned, that's not the case. I don't know him any better than that, but I'm sure that if the day should come, he'll say so straight away and won't make us wait several months.
Take a break from lifeplay, it's summer and Diablo 4 is here (starfield is also coming soon).

it is advisable to take constant breaks, the last break i had from the game was for a couple of years and clocked 7k hrs on SOG dlc for Arma 3(A Vietnam Story server). 6 days in Fallujah that got released recently is a horror game. i highly recommend that one for those into CQB combat realism. & do check out Master of Raana. it's wicked.

DEbugging always takes longer then just adding new code , xpecially when it's written modular , then with new code you only have to focus on the stack of new pages that you have written.. with debugging you go through all of them, for every bug , cuz if ya dont dont , there a high risk of removing 1 bug , and create several others in the process .. and the larger a program becomes to longer debugging takes. and that growth goes exponential. so luckely Vin started with a modular setup from the start, so it's still managable for just one person , cuz if it wasn't it would b the point where less structured programmers cant see the trees through the forrest and give up == ''abandonware'' . dont see that happenening with LP , but it's still a lot of reading , lots of open windows ... and lots of testing. and he cant rush it if he wants to do it right. rushing to meet deadlines is #1 cause of bugs... stupid typo's where nothing seems to b wrong with the code ....
