I wanna pre-face that I love the game, but is there any plans on going over the mouth animations when it comes to blowjobs for some of the characters? Like Megumi's and some others, where it stretches forward or in a weird way and it just throws me off. There is no plan on going over the mouth animations. Only a few animations are made this way and I don't think changing my artistic style would be an improvement.

The revenge itself takes a very small portion of the story. Most of the runtime follows weird love-hate relationships of MC and the girls (of whom there are 18 so far) that frankly doesn't make much sense. Half the time he blackmails/forces himself upon them for no reason, when they could probably do the same willingly, just to keep this whole dynamic going. Sometimes the girls are totally unreasonable and being hostile/mean/unfair towards MC, it seems like just to give him an excuse to further abuse them. On the topic of sandbox, it doesn't really add much to the table. The game's pretty much kinetic and the sandbox doesn't manage to create a customizable experience, and rather just makes you spend more time where you could be doing something interesting instead. Game could easily be a VN and only gain in pacing and overall enjoyment of the experience. Now, where the game lets down with weak writing and boring gameplay, it heavily overcompensates with erotic content. This developer has to offer some of the best sex scenes in Koikatsu in the business. He/she clearly spent too much time watching hentai while carefully taking notes, instead of going out and touching grass (based btw).

Writing:

- Poor English translation and loads or typos (e.g. "stealing people" instead of "robbing people", "leave" instead of "live", etc.).​

- Erotic writing is pretty hot, but everything related to story and characters is quite subpar. The way the relatioship dynamics go back and forth between love and hatred is ridiculous​

- The usual sandbox inconsistency issues (e.g. Laura is supposed to move to dojo, but somehow still goes to school, hangs out at the gym, and at her home, Nina already lives in your house yet still craws into the room from the window, etc).​

- Character's behavior, interactions and motivations makes little to no sense. Not quite mental asylum level, but not immersive enough either.​

Gameplay:

- Too much 'sandbox' and not enough 'visual novel' IMO.​

- The game is a sandbox, but there is no player agency, you HAVE to follow walkthrough to a tee, more often than not in a very strict order. So far there are ZERO choices that would branch character story-lines.​

- The navigation pop-up UI is a bit annoying and sometimes gets in the way.​

- No text outline, and as many renders are overexposed, textbox becomes a necessity.​

- Too many repetitive events.​

Porn:

+ Superb custom Koikatsu animations with climax sequences.​

+ The directing, camera angles and movement, lighting, choreography are all done very well.​

- Unfortunately most scenes are too short.​

+ Hot ahegao faces.​

+ Very high effort animated cut-scenes.​

+ Plenty of well-mixed and varied sex SFX, though the female grunts are kinda weird.​

- Sex scenes basically happen in a vacuum: no teasing, no buildup, no aftermath either. It goes like this almost every time: MC asks for a sexual favor or drugs the girl -> black screen (unzips.mp3) -> sex animation -> cumming animation (with ahegao) -> black screen -> back to sandbox. Very little context surrounding the whole process.​

It's a good review, but after all, it's a porn game. And it's a good porn game. It would be silly to say there's no story, at least something has been done, all the characters have their own stories. The game is still new, so I don't agree with the story part.

I'd argue that the narrative so far only serves to somehow connect the sex scenes and make the girls distinguishable and rarely goes beyond that function. There are some attempts at storytelling with the cat girl background and Lucie's retribution arc, but they are not very well written IMO. If you're satisfied with the current quality of the script - that's fine, and yes, it's a porn game and the writing is totally appropriate for this medium. But from where I am standing it could use some improvements, tho doesn't need to.
