(...)Devs really need to see how many people are sick and tired of the over saturation of lesbian characters, because too many fake woke wussies are scared to speak up for fear of the bitching. (...)
LOL. We, the oppressed masses, crave *less* hot lesbo action in games, which is only in there because fake woke wussies and the snowflakes bullying them. Well, I for one am glad there's still people willing to stand up and put themselves on the line for a noble cause. :ROFLMAO:

No worries though, LomL may not be the game for you, but there's plenty of stuff out there that you will enjoy. Have a good one!

1. The MC was not only on the trip because he has a license but because he is the caretaker or father depending on your preference and all three share the same issue. Grief over the loss of a loved family member. All three take this trip to finally accept the loss and move on with their life. The entire Trip is for this exact purpose. It may have started for a different reason but as the story moves forward this is the goal all three try to achieve as the story unfolds.
There are only 2 ways a family will react to the loss of a family member in their time of grief.
Option A: They become more close because shared pain is less pain. The love and caring towards each other becomes more frequent and each member of the family starts with emotional support for one another.
Option B: They do the exact opposite. Get emotional distance and the tension is always high. A small issue can set of an emotional nuke inside someone which mostly ends up in figths and arguing. Alot of arguing.

The story starts at Option B. Everyone is distant in his own regard and handles the grief on their own. As the story moves on all three start to approach Option A. The entire journey of this game till chapter 5 is a family handling grief and how it influences each individualy and how they try to handle it on their own till they realize they can rely on each other for emotional support and share the grief to bond stronger and move forward. Together and stronger as ever.

Once this is achieved and everyone is open for that approach it is Denise that starts influencing both the MC and Macy to the idea of a more romantic and lust driven relationship between the three of them. This is the current point we are at.

2. The Lesbian scenes are maybe not to your taste but serve the purpose of Denise overcoming her shyness and having a better relationship with her always grumpy and many times aggressive sister. Macy on the other hand learns to be vulnerable and letting someone close, being intimate and share feelings once again. Under all that hate is a very fragile and hurt little girl that yells for help.
The lesbian scenes are not there for shits and giggles but actually serve a emotional bonding process when you get intimate with someone. It is no coincidence that both Denise and Macy once their share certain moments together become more and more open with stuff they want, stuff they talk about between each other and feelings they realize.
This also is a key element for Denise to push Macy towards a relationship that involves the MC while also destroying the emotional wall Macy has build in order for her to handle her grief.

3. Disabling it would mean you miss out of vital story informations like their relationship growing, Denise overcoming her shyness and Macy opening up and feeling vulnerable in the process letting someone this close. Which is also visualized in the scene where Denise unshackles the Beast Macy who thinks she doesn't deserve freedom or happiness despite in secret crying for help for the monster she has become when telling her mother "i hate you" the day she died. In her mind she deserves nothing good in her life.
Both Denise and Macy grow and bond in those Scenes because they share their feelings, thoughts and insecurities. This also again serves the purpose to move the story foward for a romantic relationship between the three.

4. If you had paid attention to the story you would know why this can not and will not be disabled. As i explained in Point 2 and 3 this serves as story element and character growth. The scenes may not be to your personal preference but the dialouge and writing in those scenes serve a purpose. To disable them would mean that the audience or players would miss very important information and fail to realize why certain actions move forward after it.

To explain this better lets compare it to something you probably know.

Assume this is the movie trilogy matrix. But since we do not like certain sex/romantic/intimate scenes we cut out the entire trinity arc in it. The character still exists but we simply cut out every bonding, romantic or sexual moment from all three movies. We would end up with the entire story making no sense any more because key elements would be missing. Since you are surely familiar with said movie i leave it to your imagination what happens to the movie, the story and the entire plot if you take those scenes and the dialouges in it out.

The trilogy would literally make no sense anymore. Normaly i would agree that some romantic/sex scenes in most movies or stories serve no purpose or sometimes leave a bad taste in the mouth of the audience who do not like such stuff.
But in this game or the matrix trilogy they are actually a plot element that holds the story together. If you take anything from that out the story doesn't work anymore and the entire plot falls apart.

And while you might not realize this it is actually pretty fucking hard to achieve such a plot element that becomes vital in the first place. Cause for something to become a vital plot element you need to be able to branch the entire story in a way that without it nothing works anymore.
Matrix is a prime example for this one as the love story appears to be a side story but is actually the driving force behind almost everything. Go rewatch the trilogy and you realize what i mean.

Well good thing a writer is present to help you with this right?
Let me deconstruct your entire issue from a neutral story writing position so you understand why the things you may not like are not there for shits and giggles but have actual substance and need to be there for the story to work. (And i can understand you as i am not fond of lesbian stuff myself either but in this game i always watch them for the reasons i will explain)

I will not start to attack your personal opinion on things like what you like or dislike but the story in and of itself. So don't get mad at me when i try to point out what is going on and why you didn't pay attention when you should have. This is no fanboy rant either but simply me doing stuff i am good at. Writing and understanding stories, dialouge, narration, character growth, plot elements, tension arc and all the other writer mumbo jumbo no one but me cares about :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

And yes while my explanation was long and i thank everyone for reading this far i really tried my best to explain from a neutral point of view why you can not take the lesbian scenes out for the story to work properly.

If you still feel that you lost all attraction to the girls after my explanation and why those scenes are important i can only give you the advice of replaying the entire game and reading and following the story and i am pretty sure you will rethink your approach :)
JUST WOW!!!!

(not sarcastic, my honest reaction).

I also see this trip as continuing with the "Lot's Daughters" symbolism introduced early on. The three have (for a time) left their homes and are now wandering in the wilderness. To all extents and purposes, they are the only ones in the world at this moment; there is no contact with the rest of the world.
Once this is achieved and everyone is open for that approach it is Denise that starts influencing both the MC and Macy to the idea of a more romantic and lust driven relationship between the three of them. This is the current point we are at.

Yes. In many ways, Denise is approaching this from a therapeutic standpoint. She wants her family to let go of their pain, their separation and become more cohesive, and takes much of her inspiration from the Lot's Daughters paintings. She cares not for the society created labels of straight, lesbian, or bisexual. She only knows that she wants her family to bond. Being younger, she has not integrated many of society's messages. This is where she has an advantage over Macy and functions as a teacher/guide for the elder.

Yes, the physical intimacy, the sex, is there to support the story, not the other way around (as with most modern porn)

Regarding your analogy with the Matrix Trilogy, some might say that the story falls apart anyway. ;)
The scene with the passed out MC was only for the girls benefits , I don't think it was anything more than that. He got nothing from that, no involment and enjoyment because he was passed out.
Once again, this is an allusion to the situation of Lot with his daughters. It makes perfect literary sense to me.

Yea, I mean I didn't say otherwise. I personally wish he wasn't passed out myself, drunk enough for it to happen would've been fine for me but that was a pretty big turning point in the relationship between Macy and MC. Hopefully she doesn't regret it and is more forward in her advances in the next update. I was just saying MC wasn't left completely out this update even if he didn't know about it.

Dear god i hope not and they never will.

That has been my experience as well. They are quick to say these insults when they feel they are on top, but as soon as they feel they've lost their "superior status," how they whine! You should see how some reacted in another thread when I questioned the insult that an MC (in another game) had a vagina. One even tried to bring up evidence of the history of the insult going back to the Roman Empire as justification.
The Roman Empire you say. Biggus Dickus and Incontinentia Buttocks should have all the answers we need in that matter :ROFLMAO:

True that but i thought i keep it simple to not overly fatigue the mind of certain individuals :)

Uh you know how to press the buttons in my mind

From my point of view Hollywood as a whole has no idea wtf they are doing. We got tons of good writers but new stuff is risky and all they care about is old franchises redone in a horrible torturing kind of way

Once again, this is an allusion to the situation of Lot with his daughters. It makes perfect literary sense to me.
Thats also my take but this kinda provides evidence to a theory of mine. You can always use old established stuff in a new way. IF you know wtf you are doing that is. And naughty knows his shit thats for sure :)

I'm glad! I'm largely here for these kinds of discussions about a developer's work.

I was around for the early days of cinematic porn (late Seventies). Many at the time were trying to tell real stories that included sex as part of the plot. They might not have been the most coherent of plots, but much better than we usually see today
IMHO, of course.

So you telling me i'm not the only old fuck in here? Glad to hear that. I remember some of those movies as well. But i don't miss the bushes one bit. Kay Parker was the first one i got to watch.
And dear got the stories even back then didn't count as good but compared to today those were oscar worthy peformances.

Maybe the porn industry will adapt once they realize that games with a good plot and excellent writing are in demand and can make a shit ton of money in the process.

I hope i live long enough to see that :ROFLMAO:

Yeah! There was something special about Kay Parker. In another thread, we ended up having a role call of the various older members, from 55 to....either 68 or 72 if memory serves.

Definitely. Even the silly ones, like Barbara Broadcast or Pretty Peaches tried to make things internally consistent.

You and me both! Sign of good porn--you continue watching after you've climaxed.

how much longer until the update?
Short version!
Until it is done i assume?
Could be sooner but then we would have bugs and errors and crashes and no one wants that. Right?

Longer and silly version.
Near soon. Not as soon as very soon but still soon.
Of course we also have the option of not so soon but still pretty soon but not as soon as you would have hoped for but still in the vicinity of soon.
After that comes far away from soon. Still soon. But neither in the vicinity of soon nor close to soon. But soon non the less.
Bad news would be not anytime soon. That is a soon you do not want near you or this game at all. It still has soon in it but it is so far away from soon that is almost an insult to use the term soon.

Sorry but the term "soon" is a running gag in this thread. Please forgive me?

Yeah! There was something special about Kay Parker. In another thread, we ended up having a role call of the various older members, from 55 to....either 68 or 72 if memory serves.
I always hoped for Sophia Loren but she never went that way. God i would have given both my hands back then just to spend an evening with her

The silly ones were still better than anything of today! But people are to serious about everything nowadays.

I missed a couple of opportunities to see Nina Hartley at a local event, but I've only met two pornstars over the years.
One was Mike Horner who spoke with the local group about his life in porn. He later spent some time relaxing in the hosts' hot tub. The other I met briefly was Annie Sprinkle. I was a cashier at the time and she came through my line. We chatted for a few moments while I did my job.
The silly ones were still better than anything of today! But people are to serious about everything nowadays.
True enough. :giggle:
No it didn't but if you insist on this we can have an open discussion about Lot and his daughters and i will very precisly explain to you why everything you type is wrong as this game is this game and lot and his daughters are lot and his daughters.
Otherwise i could write you an essay on why Avatar (the one with the blue tall people) is an exact copy of Dances with Wolves and most people didn't even notice it. We could argue the same here about inspiration and still end up with an entire different story.
Now I'm thinking of Seven Samurai, The Magnificent Seven, Battle Beyond the Stars, A Bug's Life, and Mandalorian Chapter 4: Sanctuary, etc.
There was literally no time lesbian porn was rare. Porn in general was rare till the late 90s and before that you either had balls of steel getting porn from certain shops etc. or which was way more likely you had adult magazines shared with friends or stolen from your dad, uncle etc.
There is currently a contingent of male viewers (I don't remember this being a thing in the early days) who only watch lesbian/girl-on-girl videos because they "don't want to see another dude's dick." Often, they'll add a "I'm not gay," to punctuate their point.
