No, not in my opinion. Most of the choices are not major and only make a difference in the near-term text. Those choices that do make a difference are pretty clearly signaled.
I also recall the developer writing an "op ed" piece about their displeasure at the mod's suggested choices.

No. It shows you the values of choices you make and you have to pretty much hard no choices multiple times to miss content.

well when it updates its an entire chapter so it's warranted other update every month or 2 with pieces of a chapter
