dudes...I feel mr Tarzan is a genuine fan of this game that has a very particular way to enjoy it and that's fair, we could argue all day about if is the most optimal way to enjoy it, but in the end, he is happy with skimping trough dialog and jumping trough the sex scenes just as we are happy reading every single line and that's fine...
I know Mr Tarzan is not a troll since he doesn't actually harass naugthyroad to make the game more sexy and less wordy... he understands NR's vision and even though he doesn't share it, he still finds enough enjoyment on the game to keep playing it and stay up to the newests updates. Maybe one day he will be more willing to invest time and energy to really read everything and find out the amazing little details hidden between the lines, but that day is not today and is not up to us to take him there...
let's be happy everybody in this discussion enjoys the game and focus on what's really important how much clay would be necessary to make a replica of Denise's massive ass?

THAT'S IT! A temple dedicated to Denise and Macy in the form of a bouncy castle. With inflatable statues of the girls inside. Worshippers could then have themselves launched into the temple, by a trebuchet of course, and bounce around until they reach nirvana...

Same here. To really understand everything, you would have to be a specialist in 14th century Italian history. Some of the "villains" who are getting punished in hell in the story, were contemporaries of Dante. Others are well known from classic literature, but surprisingly, while we tend to see them more as heroes, they are considered as villains as well (for example Odysseus).
If you want a version of the story more in line with our modern mindset, I would recommend Larry Niven's Inferno.

Brings a smile to my face as well! Its really heckin' impressive that the game has so many positive reviews.
Like- the game has almost as many reviews (346) as it has pages of forum conversation (409). That ratio is wild.
Most players correctly identify how great the content is- and after that feel the need to gush over it in review. Pretty special really.
Yes, I know that... and "Dante's Inferno" is a game, would be really bad if Dante named his masterpiece in a silly way like that, especially when "Inferno" is just the first part of it...
Whenever I read or hear about Dante's Inferno I have to think of a scene in Woody Allen's Deconstructing Harry, where a fictional character descents the nine layers of Hell in an elevator. It always makes me laugh:

They discuss and study this particular piece of literature to this day and age. To get most of it is enough to read it a few times in its entirety. But to really understand every reference, implication, nuance etc. none of us can get old enough to really understand it all. It is a fantastic piece of art that mixes religion, mythology, psychology, fear, terror and many more to combine it to a masterpiece for the mind and intellect.
And that is just the first part.
Dante's Purgatorio and Paradiso is a whole other debate again. And they even study that to this day and age.
