If they're going to travel back in time and only tell us about chapter 125 and not bring a copy of the damn game, they'd be lucky to not be flogged in the streets. lol
Status updates are regularly posted on the developer's Discord (see first post). Sometimes someone in this thread does post it here though.

naughtyroad Wow! Just freaking wow! This is now my favorite AVN ever! You have done an absolutely amazing job with this! Thank you for all the hard work you have clearly put into it over the time you've worked on it. I stumbled across it looking through the recommendation forums. And am I ever glad I did. The naughty bits are damn good! But the story, it is the best one I have ever read! I truly mean that. This would be a great AVN without the lewd stuff. And I know there are options to skip certain aspects of it, but I'd rather get the full story. The humor, the serious stuff, the in-between, all of it is a total package deal that is hard to come by in many AVNs of this style. Thank you for allowing us to share in the journey you're on with this. I truly wish I had the money to donate to you, because you would have a patron in me until you were done with this. As it stands, you have a full-fledged fan that will chomp at the bit waiting for each update. Remember to take care of yourself while you work on this. I, and I am sure many others, want to see the full resolution of your amazing story!

Having followed loml since the first chapter, there is still one thing that I don't understand.
Why does Denise have greyish teeths on the OP? (and as I recall, sometimes ingame as well)
Iv'e been meaning to ask about this..for years
And a few minor issues, like a feeling of repetative scenes and dialog here and there. But then again, is it not life for most of us..
Another thing is, that the dialog can become a tad too sugary, for my taste. Again, its nothing serious to me, I still think it is easely one of the best VNs in here!
But you HAVE to do something about those teeths
Other than that, thx for en excellent VN!
I'm not waiting for the next update, just happy when it arrives.

Some people just like to be teased to eternity and experience a slow burn, and this is the perfect game for that. I think I'm less into it than this game caters to, but definitely more into it than many of the other games on this site cater to, so what can you do really! Also, I think a major focus is on comfort for the LIs, and considering the relations and their relative inexperience in sex, taking it slow makes lots of sense especially considering how perverted we can make our MC.
The sugary dialogue reminds me of hentai games in a good way, but improves on it. A lot of those games have a tendency to feel kind of off and strange to me, probably just lost in translation.. but this game does a good job of feeling more natural and grounded without losing the wholesome sex fantasy element of traditional hentai. That's the way I see it anyways. The way the dialogue is rendered, for example, in non-erotic scenes is very reminiscent of that, it's adorable. And of course, the models themselves are quite cartoonish in appearance, which apart from being cute and unique, I think communicates to the audience what tone to generally expect. I definitely prefer much more realistic games personally, but this is still a great scratch for that warm, wholesome nostalgia itch that other games can't deliver! Brings me back to when I first discovered hentai games
And the teeth, well, I don't know what you're talking about. It just looks like darker shades of lighting to me.

There will always be things to criticize, especially when the overall experience is as good as it is in this game, which makes the flaws stand out more, but I for one have a very easy time forgiving those minor details.
I've been meaning to post my thoughts about the game, so this is as good a time as any, I suppose. The positive first:
The graphics are really nice, the character designs are fresh and original (and cute, Macy actually looks quite a bit like a friend of mine, who is gorgeous), and the storytelling is absolutely fantastic. The number of dialogue options given reminds me of the game Oxenfree (which I cannot recommend highly enough) with its organic dialogue flow. The story itself is also very interesting, how it digs into the deeply personal and somewhat dark subjects and presents the characters as complex humans instead of cartoon characters.
And since we're on the subject, here's my criticism:
All-in-all, this is one of the best written games I've played (and the list of really good games is, to my delight, continuously growing thanks to this forum) and I'm eagerly looking forward to the continuation.
