Can anyone help me out? I'm returning to the game after being unable to access my personal laptop in over a year. I'm trying to figure where I am based on my most recent saves. The bonfire schene with the mc's speech happens in which chapter specifically?

Pretty sure that's chapter 5, 2 before the end of "season one".

Android is slightly different in that it shows you a "save as" dialog where you specify the file name and destination folder, and then when you start in chapter 8, you get an "open file" dialog where you have to select that file. It's because Android won't let apps see files created by other apps unless you go through a dialog like that for security reasons.

it was 1.0.0. i downloaded 1.0.1 and it gave the option to direct the save. that worked. thanks

Has some of the earlier game changed? I had to replay the first season because I got a new computer, and I seem to recall my character not being able to make as many of the sexier choices as I had before, or being undermined when I could make the choices... If I'm not just imagining things, I would call that an improvement. If I am imagining things I'm happy that my choices are all panning out well so far.

I agree it's a risk...but at the same time find it silly, yeah it's possible to have malicious save files, I have yet to see that happen, what I have seen multiple times is actual game downloads having viruses in them.(last one being yesterday)...might as well remove all download files too! (not a big deal anyway here, the game has a skip to new content thing...which I wish all games had) There's a risk on EVERYTHING you download on the internet, just the way it is.

That said, back to subject, the new update delivers as usual! Takes a while for each release but makes up for it with a lot of content, one of the few games on here on a yearly schedule that are actually worth the wait.

I understand, but since you do see game viruses even with all the measures taken to keep it from happening with an organized team and channels on here ... By downloading something from someone anonymous and no accountability, people are taking even higher risks.

Also, in the past month, I personally have reported over a dozen bad actors who have tried to share "save files" and "universal translation mods" on various threads on this site.

So yes, it is happening. But with proactive volunteer staff and user reports, many are getting caught before you might see them.

Also this VN has so many little nuances with player choices which affects dialogue for gallery replays and the like -- a player shouldn't reduce their chance for a customized experience by playing even a safe save file... Let alone a virus or a "dick tugboat" or an "asshole only" save file made in jest to share.

Also, remember, save files may not include every sex scene if players choose not to romance certain characters, so content could be missed to for Light of My Life save files.

It works perfectly fine for there to be no blood relations. It also is a great story without trying to bang Macy and Denise (raising two lovely, responsible unrelated young women who can simply have been raised in a foster home who find love with each other) but romancing the other available women. It all depends upon personal preferences.
