Besides.... one persons save might not have the same choices you'd want to make.
All jokes aside, and sorry if you've answered that question here before, but do you plan on bringing back the achievements for episode 8? Cause I genuinely loved unlocking them in episodes 1-7.
Oh, yeah, I do. They're relatively easy to implement and work fine even without a Steam backend, so no reason not to.
Can't wait for MC to be the most boring person in the universe again then! (that one was so rewardingly funny)

If people have opinions about certain things in the game they should do a topic search and go back and read comments from the dev and players on whatever issue going back to 2019.

Lost my saves for this game, is there any chance of getting a chapter selector like within other games so that I don't have to replay the first 6 chapters again.

Except this game has decisions and preferences in previous chapters which alter content in subsequent ones. Yes, some of the content differences are subtle - but they are affected.
Also, I'm simply amazed by the number of people who lose their saves for their games across this forum. I mean, even if you delete the game directory - many of the games on this site also write save files to %AppData% if on Windows machines. A person has to be diligent on "losing" in order to lose them.

I choose to believe they don't lose the save but it makes it more likely to get a positive response than just plainly stating you want a save cause you are lazy.
This is a rant but I don't understand why ask for a save on ren'py games. Most scenes are simple poses or short animations, if you want to use the "replay gallery" just look at porn on the internet. If you want a save to access content without having to go through the game just use the skip functionality (mostly ren'py games only).
Literally only know a handful of VN's where saves are warranted.

The only time I think a save makes sense is for any of the quest-grind games that regularly break saves after an update.
Happily, this game is neither of these things. Or, if a restart is necessary, it's time well spent to revisit this story and its characters.

Raise your hands if the amount of games you liked and played that got abandoned and never ended is at least triple of the amount that actually did get a end.. And that is stating it lightly..
Hell i can count the games that actually finished that i really liked on 1 hand.
