I still don't understand the problem why can't make it possible to disable futanari, in 99% of games with this feature, this feature can be disabled or avoided.

If the futanari function has the ability to be turned off, then you simply turn it off in your game. You don't get blame/hate for having futanari in the game. Happy are those who do not like futanari and those who like futanari. What's the problem dude, what are you arguing with? Or do you think it's hard to implement? With my 12 years of experience in game development, I can say that it takes MAXIMUM 1 day (8 hours) to implement the on/off function of something.

Currently stuck and unable to do much in the home base. I've done all of the available hostess events(begrudgingly) and talked to the clones again but can't trigger a way to progress plot. I'm trying to be as much of a total lesbian as I can though, so I didn't talk to the guy with the eternal boner and refuse to unless I literally can't progress the story without doing so. Unless there's something else I'm missing or I've already completed all of the available content otherwise.

I'm not sure, it looks like the dev isn't worried about putting pregnancy content on the game for now.

Hey, dev here -- I don't check in on this thread often enough, since most of what I post is on the Development Thread here - https://f95zone.to/threads/light-sp...deep-69-sci-fi-rpg-development-thread.162269/.

But I'll try to answer some of the big questions I saw earlier!

And wow, I did not realize how hotly contested the futanari issue would be, haha.
I'll admit, I'm a fan of futa, but realize it's not for everyone. The best I got for you guys is that I'll be allowing you to skip futa scenes -- like the one with Alliqua -- and futa content will mostly be side mission content (aka; skippable content). The bulk of planned & main story content is hetero and yuri.

And there will be characters in the game that are futa, and some will be pretty plot important characters, so at most you'll see a sprite of a chick with a cock -- and you can skip their sex scenes. Since you will be interfacing with more alien species as you progress, I'd imagine it wouldn't be uncommon to run into Xenos with a "unique" reproductive biology.

Other than that, as I mentioned in an earlier post, I'm not too happy with how some stuff was first implemented and given how early I am in development, you'll probably see some big changes to the UI and gameplay until we reach episode 2 in our roadmap.

My focus now is cleaning up those systems while trying to add in new content to avoid each update just being a "refactor" -- the current update I'm working on is adding a new planet (which will include some some new species, including telepathic alien hounds and lizardmen) and re-working the Diplomacy (combat) system in a significant way.

If you want some more in-depth updates or questions answered, I'd recommend following the Development Thread, since I'll be posting devlogs and my random thoughts & updates there.

Also, I really appreciate all the comments and feedback, it means a lot and has given me a lot to consider to help guide my development -- such as making futa sex scenes skippable and some QoL changes. I read and consider them all, both positive and negative, even if I might not respond to everything.

Feedback's a big reason why I'm showing this game in an early state and aiming to update the frequency of releases, because honestly, I'd hate to have made a game that isn't enjoyable. So, my current goal is to get more feedback that I can respond to so I don't end up accruing a bunch of technical debt.

Yeah, in retrospect -- starting with goblins was probably not the most appealing choice for a prototype, haha. Story-wise it should become pretty obvious once you learn about the species' history why I went with goblins.

I was mostly just looking for a small race that reproduces like wild, often non-consensually, so I can explore some of the ethical implications that might have in this game's universe, and they seemed like the obvious choice.

Umm, you're commenting on the ridiculousness of the uniform when you have in your avatar Karryn's Prison. A character who has as a Warden uniform this:


Glass houses, stones, etcetera.

To answer slowpersun DracoBorealis, there are plans for different outfits for different events, mini-games and scenes -- and if you think the current outfits are ridiculous, our first drafts went much farther, haha.

Also, chances are, we're not going to implement a "paper doll" system here, since this game isn't built with that in mind.

The lewd stuff is planned to be interwoven with just about everything, not just in "bad end" scenarios.
The combat is built with the option to go lewd in mind, so are the mini-games and some of the choices you can make during dialogue. I want the sex to be both a reward for playing well and as a punishment for playing poorly, with the punishments just being different kinds of sex.

And speaking of the game overs, they won't technically end the game since I'm trying to keep replayability in mind. You'll only be moved into the "game over state" until you break free.

They don't deserve blame or hate in the first place for including it without a toggle. There's nothing offensive about including content that doesn't appeal to every last person and they don't need to put every non-vanilla fetish behind a toggle. If futa is a deal breaker for you then save yourself the headache and just filter the tag.
