How to beat Torte?
On the escape sequence u cannot beat Torte, u have to reach a certain checkpoint by dodging her and destroying the obstacles on your way.

On the second encounter, farm some XP so ur stats will be higher and aproach with a strategy in mind, atk down statuses works pretty well in early encounters, and if u get the message of your foe "planning something" try to heal up if u are low already, or defend yourself and after the attack is delivered your foe will be left with def down and a turn of stunning, leaving u with a window to attack.

*Try different types of attacks and see which one works best on her and plan ahead of your SP and HP points if possible, since its the first encounter it shouldnt take u more than 10 levels to properly win just starting out.

I can't seem to find it, but there was one person who commented on the game turning into a glitchy mess when downloading, and another user sending their older files to fix it.

I wanted to post to say it DID work for me! Hopefullysomeone has a working copy of 4.0 to share :)

I gave an estimate of before September when I said I started working on this, but I've been hit by IRL since late July or so. I'd estimate it's somewhere around 80-something % done, depends how things go from here.
Just thought I should give a status update.

Take your time man, quality > quantity/rushed out.

People can do other things while they wait and be patient.

Amazing to hear! was a little worried from the number of times I have seen people drop a project and go missing from the community is a worryingly large amount. Can't wait for the finished project!

Ah, so 95% posters weren't real people  I understand better now...

More seriously, good luck, Skihj - take your time.
I don't know if you're being sarcastic or making a quip at me here lol.

Tons of impatient people on this website man, I've seen some in threads asking about progress of translations every day, I've seen the same with updates on a game.

Tons of stuff not just on this website, but in general to do, but I've seen too many people hyper focus on one game like it's the only game in existence, not saying you do that, but way too many do, I just don't get it but w/e.

110% sarcasm, sir. Don't you worry.
I just wished the rubberneckers would help out instead, if they have time to complain (also why I keep this short )

Yeah, it's easy to go back to a game once or twice a year but that's the way the world is now.

I've got games from the nes days man, and all the way up to ps4, tons of PC games too.

I have 10-20+ years worth of stuff to do lol.
