After so much time passed without any update I'm not counting on it honestly.

there was an update on the 31st of august. so, it's been like 2 months. be patient. it said that IRL hit them and the game is 80%-sh done.

It means you have on equipment that reduces HP or SP. There's few items like this (like Cursed Ring)
Translating most of text isn't that hard, but takes long time: changing lines, checking how they look and sound... Can take random JSON online editor and change few things (edit .json files in www/data).
In theory. In practice sometimes you kinda need the visual cue, which means doing a rough first pass, playing through it, taking notes and revising.
Then doing another playtest and see if the spirit of the original dialogue was maintained.
The technical work is the simple part... and indeed it thus takes a long ass time.
Plus i didn't try it before outside of changing one-two lines. PLUS, clueless about location of some lines (pic). But trying to fix translation of intro (meeting Lilith) and testing it already took few hours.

Character and sprite from game "Captive Alstromeria"? Did you merge game files or what? Replaced scripts?
Here's sprite from "Captive_Alstromeria_v2.1\www\img\characters", but you probably toyed with game files. Not just filename, but also file extensions are different - Lilith In Nightmare is using .rpgmvp files, while Captive Alstromeria - .png files.
I'm having issues with all of the animations fracturing. It takes away a lot of the game for me to watch every animated image freeze and glitch out.

Was wondering about "many parts differ heavily from what the Japanese says" part. Why is there need to translate is exactly like it was originally? Why just changing MTL to something that makes sense (in situation where translated text appears) doesn't work?
Your brain will automatically do the same thing when it reads the original MTL text; It will make sense of the nonsense. That's how I originally played this game when it released. That kind of "translation" has zero value to anyone except idiots who don't know how to use MTL programs, because all its doing is polishing a turd that anyone can shit out.
Besides that, MTL can butcher characterization, plot details, etc. Correcting the grammar of a wildly incorrect sentence wont change that it's incorrect. Probably doesn't matter if you only download 100% saves and skip the entire game though.
