They are filled by whatever memory of loss you got, so if you never lost or erased those memories they are empty.
I'm currently stuck on chapter 6-2. What do I do after being teleported away from the part by the two sucubus? Thanks

In the hospital safe there is a potion you can get, with side effects, what side effects are there? my menu hub turned blue

There's settings for animation, can try changing those. Bookshelf in Charlotte's room allows to read more about settings.
