Probably because it's easier to plan and simply because the game gets too big at some point, the cut off point seems to be ~5GB file size for many, so they can start over with either a save export/import or a "What were your choices?"I'm Curious as to why some devs split their game into different seasons instead of just updating the same game after every update cycle.
Is there a bigger reason to this?
Grandma's house for example just assumes you played the previous parts and goes on like one big game, but cut into seperate parts.
