But at least this time it's not "about to start working on fields content" and instead actually says that fields content has been worked on. That's an improvement. Credit where credit is due, this is the first update in a long while where like, it's actually clear what content and systems are being worked on, and how much has been done. I'll save criticism about how long it should take to write a single encounter for now, because specifics are nice.
I'm just glad that the game is finally moving forwards and that there's actual progress being made on the Fields. I've waited 2+ years for this so I think I can wait a little longer for a decent release. My previous "guesstimate" still stands; if we're being optimistic, we may see a new release 1-2 weeks from now.

So, after faffing about on 3.20 for a solid few days, I went to clean up my files... and found that LT had somehow become a 25 gigabyte folder... I had somehow accumulated a single NOTEPAD file marked "error" in LT's data folder that was 23.4 gigabytes.

Was this always happening and I just did not notice? Because... that's a lot of error... 23 gig notepad...
For reference LT's README is 82 kilobytes...
Yeah, LT really doesn't manage its error file well. I've had that happen a couple times. You get stuck in a loop where its spamming out errors and it basically turns into malware trying to fill your drive as fast as it can possibly write to it.

This is why most software checks the file size and purges old lines to maintain a file limit.

Best advice, delete your save. Maybe try exporting the character and starting over, but that just caused my game to break again the last time I had this happen.

can't start the java version on my Mac, any suggestions ?
You're going to have to give us more to go on than that. What's happening when you try and start it? Any errors in the log? Java not working at all? Give us something to actually go on.

1-2 weeks seems like a real stretch, considering the city map hasn't even been started and a single encounter has taken more than a week to write.

FYI, there was cheating at the end for testing, and a handful of mods (possibly out of date, possibly improperly removed in shuffles and version copypastes...). Never actually crashed though. Only ran slow trying to calculate fluid values...
9mb on load. Ballooned to above 150mb upon sleeping for two days.

Hindsight - Probably from borking up mod installs though.

23gb for borking a text game...

Manually start a console window and launch the jar from there. That should let you see whatever error it's failing with, without the window closing on you.

I skimmed through the log, and it looks like uninstalling the mods is what caused this to happen. The modded items were still out in the world, and every turn it was trying to update all of them (plus associated set bonuses, status effects, etc).

Looks like the game needs a better way of dealing with uninstalled mods. I'll add that to my growing list. :p

macOS ships with OpenJRE 14, which doesn't include JavaFX (a requirement for Lilith's Throne). The easiest way around this is to install Oracle's JRE 8 (it has to be version 8, as 11 and up don't ship with JFX, either—fun stuff). You can grab that from here:

JRE 8 is still considered the recommended release, so that should be the one that page points you to.

If I was brave and not a dummy I might try to find out how to mod/write more stuff for the sex banter, descriptions and so on for variety but I suspect it's probably going to be a big spaghetti nightmare to mod and as a newbie I'd drown in it.

So basically, the only deliverable after a week is part of a single encounter having been written. But at least this time it's not "about to start working on fields content" and instead actually says that fields content has been worked on. That's an improvement. Of course, the last update said that the city's map hasn't been started and this pretty much confirms it. So we're probably a month or two away if re-working the entire map system is the new distraction. For once, I'm in favor of the distraction. If you're going to do a rework, getting the rework done BEFORE adding new content that'll complicate the process is a smart move. But fucking make that the priority, and fucking communicate that intention.

There's no shortage of distractions available..

This a fun document to go through, as chaotic as it may be at a first glance. Interesting to see how much she actually has planned in terms of where she wants to take the story, small changes, and QOL, although it is easier to plan something than to see it be realized for the most part.

So the todo list mentions a bug in Lilaya's Geisha scene. What exactly is this, if anything?
During holiday times, you can get wrapped presents, from the reindeer events that pop up on roads, that are essentially loot boxes. you can give those to Lilaya once a day and after a few days of gifts, she'll have gotten the whole geisha outfit from them. bada-bing bada-bone her.

Dudes "Arcane Arousal" is the best "skip/i win" spell against anything non-demonic, that 180 lust damage in a single hit is op! (also the fact it deals around 360 to 400 damage to demons with capped lust makes it the second heaviest hitter i've seen since the Melee Specialist builds lol)

It's not actually the hardest thing in the world to do, it's more tedious than difficult, the hardest work would be implementing unique requirements for action and the writing portion since you'd have to make use of the parser and also take into consideration: Gentle, Normal, Non-Consent, etc. descriptions.

But honestly once you find the files for the sexactions (not the sex system itself, just the actions) you could copy and paste a lot of it to get what you want. Of course I'm an experienced developer so you can take my opinions of difficulty with a grain of salt. But as someone who has been making my own stuff for my personal install of the game, I found adding actions the easiest.

My husband was going to create tutorials for all of this stuff (he had been working on a tutorial for creating your own level/worldspace) but since we stopped seeing any meaningful updates to the game and all the constant delays he stopped working on them and I decided not to release my personal stuff.

Gotta say out of all the species added i'm surprised we've gotten things such as Spiders and Snakes but no Monkeys yet, i'd imagine that they would be easy to flavor when it comes to the racial bonuses (either making them all combat centered since "Saiyan/Sun Wukong" inspiration, or all tease/lust based after Bonobos/Monkey races which are very sexually active)

I don't think it's too surprising, really. Spider and snake monsters are associated with a few specific fetishes in porn games like CoC or monster stuff in general, but I don't think I've ever seen an anthro game that cared about primates.

LT has a bunch of species that aren't really associated with specific kinks other than body type and furries, though, so I don't see why not if somebody were to send Inno a mod for monkey people.

"Where monke?"
Let see last time I checked primates were either planed/consider a while back, but a user on Discord did release a primate mod back in mid-march.

Okay, I just wanted to leave a little update on the mod that I was working on. I got most of the items that I originally planned 2021-04-12.png I just need to finish on the few racial foods that are left.

I just downloaded a mod from the discord that adds ape-morphs. There are three subspecies, Chimp (the main), Gorilla and Orangutan.
