It's obvious that the best systems that it's going for the game are player customization, slavery system, modding framework, and what I call M.Y.O.S.S. (a.k.a make your own sex scene). Although that system needs more and better preludes in order to be more effective if you asked me. Honestly, I'm not sure how to break to you, but all video games are bounded to integers. Some platforms are better at hiding it than others. This game being text-based, you're asking a lot if you want the stats to be anything more than just flavor text.
One thing someone looking to develop their own game in this style might consider is making a character portrait generator from the get-go. That is, the system is built from the ground up so that the description of a character generates a portrait of that character.
Which ones do you want? To just get any one, you can buy a food item from the mall and enchant it. Each race has a food item specific to it and you can select which TFs you want the potion to give.
I think the biggest lesson we can take away from LT is not to fly solo on a big project like this. Even having just one partner on the project can massively lighten the workload and grease the wheels of progress, as well as keep the project on track. Personally, I think Inno's stubborn refusal to work with anyone is at the root of all of LT's problems.
IDK if we can really say that anymore. After all, the contributors are doing most of the work these days. 4.0, the biggest patch in years, was entirely contributors.
Well I say "at the root" because I've perceived it the problem initially, from which all the other issues sprang. I truly believe that if Inno had accepted help to begin with, the project wouldn't be so riddled with issues and this thread would have a very different attitude towards it.
Well I don't have a crystal ball or anything, but I know from personal experience that working with motivated people can motivate you as well. I'm not taking the blame off of Inno or anything, just offering my perspective.
That's a big one that I forgot about yeah, lot of ways to control the sex scenes (unlike games like TiTS where scenes are hand written and at best a couple variables are switched to represent character specific traits).

The only games that should be implementing a system like that are survival games or hardcore RPGS. It would be out of place in a lightweight RPG porn game like LT.
Some games have this idea. in games that have implement this idea successfully they use body part damage to determine fighting capabilities and wounds. If your leg is wounded wouldnt be able to run or your stamina is cut by a lot. If your arm is wounded you wont be able to do strong/heavy attacks or use a weapon in that hand as effectively or your aim would be off. So on and so for with other body parts.
Calling one of the most complex game (customization/interactions) featured on this site a "lightweight RPG porn game" is a pretty hot take.
It's "lightweight" resource-wise (at least it should be), since it doesn't have any 3D graphics/animations.
It worked in Degrees of Lewdity, another lightweight RPG porn game. What makes LT different?
Furry or any kind of transformation is a plus. Something about beating the game as a gaudy eldritch abomination of my own creation just feels right. I just wish there was more than just stat changes and one or two sex moves. I want to drop shit (not literally) on people's heads as a flying character or distract cat morphs with an arcane laser pointer or get acid slapped because I was dumb enough to use fire on a slime or intimidate Nyan into giving my dog/wolf character a discount instead of doing her quest. Could mod this stuff in, but most of it would be mute if enemies just hit you so hard you needed to one shot everything with lion morph + Zweihandler.
