Nearly every update for years has followed the same cycle from the developer. Step 1 is the developer announces an incoming update and gives a release window. Step 2 is the developer waits until at or after the release window to then tell everyone they're having life problems or for some reason couldn't complete the update, while always throwing in a poor apology to try to make themselves look good. Step 3 is they then do release said update way late, and the update is almost always nothing but extremely minor bug fixes and gameplay changes, while almost never adding new or meaningful content. I'd say the game is hardly any different from what it was 3 or 4 years ago.
Last "meaningful" update took like, a year to release, and it only added some clothes and weapons, fixed some bugs, but fear not, because it also added 4 minutes of story content.

Today is the Day, any guesses on what Inno is gonna do:

A)Delay the game and blame on getting stressed

B)Not say anything until the very end of the day or even another day entirely and blame on stress

C) Say new update is bigger than she expected (it added only 1 new race and like 3 items) and has to delay it again.

D) All of the above.

Maintaining the massive lie that she's spun for 3-4 years is pretty stressful. Inno be pulled a Palpatine to keep those simps and paypigs subscribed.

Just kidding, she's just lazy.

Guess some people never learn.
I get that one can underestimate, how long writing takes, or that sometimes some bugs in coding occur, that one didn't see coming.
(I know how it is, I code and write myself too.)
But it has been a recent thing for the last few years in Innoxias history, that things like these happen a lot.
That would be prove enough to change some working and planning processes or work on the expectation management.
I guess that makes the difference to a really professional developer or game designer, to always learn new things and optimize, instead of sticking to always used concepts.

But a constant patreon/subscribestar money flow removes the motivation for some people to actually change things.
And that is exactly the reason, it is not worth for me to currently subscribe and why I only take the free stuff.
I just wouldn't feel good to subscribe and then hear excuses over and over again.
Especially since this time the release was already rescheduled several times.

Then better just do some smaller releases every 2 months or so or have some backup content ready for cases, that the current target can't be meet.
Enough creative Ideas to work on this kind of problem are there for sure...

4.10 finally releases and most of the patch notes is improving the debug menu for a more sandbox experience, and making it easier for modders to add more to the game. I'm all for mod support, but at least finish the game, don't have your own community do it for you.

Don't forget that Innoxia didn't even complete the actual mission that was supposed to be introduced in this update
