Slime and elemental transformations now require advanced knowledge of races (obtained from race books) in order to transform into them.

I wonder if Inno will change it so that when you read a race book, a version automatically appears in the library? Because the first thing I do in a new game is go read the books for the perks.

Isn't that the case already? In my game the library in Lilaya's home is full of the race books, and I sell all of the ones I loot.

Yep that's how it works now, but Inno wanted to gate certain race transformations so that you had to proceed past certain quests before you could use them, e.g. dragons. But if you have a properties.xml in your data folder where you've already read the books, they show up in a new game completely circumventing the 'gate'.

I'm making progress on my Lilith's Throne/COT/COC2-like game. I'm finishing up the character creator and image system for the characters. You guys should be able to create your own characters for Lilith's Throne, or at least experiment with how you want your character as well if you don't like the style using this. With tools for randomization, importing and exporting created character images.

I want to know if the style of the character images looks passable enough. I like it personally but I know it's probably not everyone's cup of tea lol. Especially since adding more base body types would mean I have to create an additional 240 images.

is the clothing/accessories equip previes using paperdoll system? or is it generate new image again when changing clothes?

There are 8 images per outfit, with about 30 outfits both fantasy and modern, which makes 240 images for clothing total, which would increase as more clothing gets added.

If I added a thickset woman, for example, I couldn’t use the same hip images because the images wouldn’t line up properly, meaning I have to create another 2 images for hips.

Tbh it’s not that hard at all for one or two outfits, it’s pretty straightforward and easy, but it means I’d have to do the same for all outfits.

Not to mention that also means I now have to add 240 pieces of code per body type on top of what I’m already doing. So it’s definitely in the plans but probably a month or two after release assuming everything goes well.

Yeah for sure, male and futa with different penis sizes and types. I just didn’t show it in the preview because I was currently working with the females. The males have the same aesthetic style as the females except more muscular and buff.

I have other questions, but about the image shots you showed, they look perfectly fine to me.

You mentioned about a need to create hundreds of additional images for more body types, so I am guessing no more skin tones, hair colors, bigger/smaller proportions and heights, no dudes, no furry features?
It's fine, but there are always going to be people that want 'more'.

I have probably over 300 images for hair colors, 12 different skin/fur tones, fur, scales.

Heights and proportions are in the same area as body types since they’d require a rework of all clothing images to fit that specific height and proportion. The best thing I could do is just increase the character’s image size show they show up taller on screen.

There are furries, they take inspiration from One Piece’s mink race though, so not krystal starfox type furries. I included the attachment with the furry.

There 100% are dudes and dudes already have a similar level of customization and are being worked on with females.

Yeah it uses a paperdoll system. It’s much more reliable that way.

The system doesn't have to be perfect.
As long as you can override the image with a custom one so people can use whatever they want, it will be OK. After all m any games have no art and rely 100% on user images.

nice, i really like the Free Cities pregmod ol'reliable vector paperdoll system, even when there's the webgl and AIgen thing now i still think the paperdoll is superior and sad to see it's not updated anymore

and this system also will work nicely with "equipment/dress-up" and transformation intensive LT-like game

anybody know how to allocate more RAM to it? I have plenty to spare, it just doesn't use it and keeps locking up due to running out of memory. Kind of unplayable like this.

What is the part you take issue with? Having offspring, or being pregnant in the first place?

I'd avoid both if possible. It happened cause my MC lost a fight with a breeding kink guy during a storm, which I'll hope to have better luck avoiding in the future. He ate a virility pill and forced a fertility pill on her, so I doubt the preventions would have helped a whole lot here anyway.

As an update, I ended up loading a save, so all good now.

how do i get to doll factory

Talk to the owner of the sex shop in the top-right area of Dominion and try to buy a doll, you should get an event with some reporter, then the owner will tell you she offers tours of the factory. I didn't get to follow on her offer yet so I don't know if you need to do more things to actually go in, I'll update this once I find out.

Update: The above only gets you a short tour. Someone else mentioned finishing the (currently available) main quest then talking to the owner for another quest.

I think you can only visit her on Friday/Saturday for the dates.

Yeah the system is designed to be transformation intensive. I think it's the first paperdoll system of it's kind in terms of what you can do with it in regards to races and transformations.

The equipment comes in slots so you can mix and match different armors, accessories and clothing, though it may be a little rough on release.

I believe that is intentional - shared library between saves is an optional feature you can turn off, so whether you want to circumvent this limitation is entirelly up to you.

It's been a while since I've started a new game and futzed about with the options menus, but I believe the shared library is on by default. So technically it's up to us if we don't want to circumvent the limitation.
