First time here I take it?Last update 5 months ago. Is this game dead? That would be sad. I really like it, but I've been waiting until it's 1.0 to play again.

Without an ounce of bitterness or hyperbole, if you're waiting for a 1.0, you'd be better off getting hyped for GTA8. It has a higher chance of releasing, and probably will release earlier if it does.Last update 5 months ago. Is this game dead? That would be sad. Do not get too attached to it, especially for updatesThis game has a lot cool mechanics, like it
Any chance for a EXE version with Java built in? I don't have Java installed on my machine and am not really thrilled about the idea of installing it.Hey I've been working on a little combat fix for Lilith's Throne and before I continue, I'd like to gather some feedback on what I already have
Most important gameplay changes:

My goal is not to make the game hardcore, but to make combat feel interactive, so you cannot bulldozer your way through every encounter and instead will have to experiment with different builds and strategies.
Please don't hold back with feedback - every slightest bit of information is useful, even if it seems irrelevant (did anything feel confusing? silly? off-putting? Maybe something seemed strong, but actually wasn't at all? Did some combos feel OP? Etc)
also suggestions of any kind are much appreciated (especially for new moves)
Planned Changes:

P.S. I would appreciate some code revision and tips on how to optimize and make my code cleaner

Pretty sure it's 64 bit (java 8u202, same one as in the original game)Any chance for a EXE version with Java built in? I don't have Java installed on my machine and am not really thrilled about the idea of installing it.
If Ican'tcan find a portable version to run it on, what version of Java is your mod running on and 32 or 64 bit?
Awesome.Pretty sure it's 64 bit (java 8u202, same one as in the original game)
No idea how to turn it into an .exe file, but I'll look into it
Well, I banged my head against a couple of the OpenJava versions I could find, JDK and JRE and none of them wanted to play nice with the game.Pretty sure it's 64 bit (java 8u202, same one as in the original game)

the errors are just a few typos I forgot to fix (no functional difference because of closest string match)Well, I banged my head against a couple of the OpenJava versions I could find, JDK and JRE and none of them wanted to play nice with the game.
I did find a 'cluster fuck' of a way to get the game to run though:
Create a new folder.
Copy the contents of the jre1.8.0_172 folder from the EXE version into that new folder. (Not the folder itself, just the files and folders inside that jre folder.
Extract your modded version into the Bin folder of those copied jre files.
Open a Command Prompt and navigate to that \Bin folder.
Enter: Java -jar lt_cmod_edition.jar
Game seems to run just fine like that, but I know, that is a kludgey, half assed, way to do it.
Every other version of Java that I could find (Mostly OpenJava or portable versions), just never opened the game, or it returned errors about JavaFX or complained about missing Java files or could not find a referenced file.
It works, so, fuck it. Imma gonna run with it.
Can't say much about the game yet. I had 3 or 4 fights on that first night in the Arcane storm and futzed around a bit after that. The error log had a few complaints, but nothing bad so far.

Tried using Launch4j to convert the .jar to an .exe and make it look for jre in it's folder. Renaming or moving jre folder anywhere else might cause .exe to not launchWell, I banged my head against a couple of the OpenJava versions I could find, JDK and JRE and none of them wanted to play nice with the game.

Well, I spent some time playing that modded version you made and here are some of my thoughts.Tried using Launch4j to convert the .jar to an .exe and make it look for jre in it's folder. Renaming or moving jre folder anywhere else might cause .exe to not launch
Here's the link with a .rar of .exe + jre Pixeldrain
Where to find your mods? You can also try my version, just make sure to pay a visit to Mod Options before starting a new game, since the default minimum age isn't friendly to most folks here.
My version has significant performance improvements and multiple bug fixes that are still pending on official.
Thanks for your feedback!Well, I spent some time playing that modded version you made and here are some of my thoughts.
Combat is definitely different. No more OP Soldier, 1-shot everything on the first turn, builds.
I only made two characters, one using the old Soldier Background, plus knuckle dusters and earth pet which kinda sucks (turned it to a tease build) and a second build using the Butler Background and fire damage (feels pretty good).
Hopefully others will try out your modded version and give you their opinion. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
My opinion is pretty much 'meh'. Combat is definitely different and not as comical as the OG version, but since I have only sunk 'a few hours' into your mod, as opposed to the original game, I am still trying to settle in with the changes.
