This game's combat is so stupidly broken that it amuses me how an RPG with a lot of build variety and customization which had a lot of thought put into it can get so unbalanced.
Like just a few one of the most broken things imagineable.

- Giving yourself extra-arms increases AP as you are attacking with more limbs this is a detriment since some criticals require using specific attacks in sequences and the extra damage per limb doesn't add up to criticals. To counter that you can use all-out attacks to deal insanely stupid amounts of damage for no real cost as the AP cost does not increase for all out-attacks.
- Firebombs can be obtained pretty early on - they deal insanely high amounts of AOE fire damage. The game only gives you 10 at start but if you find a shopkeeper that can remake them you can get an infinite number of firebombs for basically no real cost as they are dirt cheap.
- Guns are incredibly powerful, having quite a few skills that deal a LOT of damage - but they cost essence to fire, which is used for a lot of the crafting, modifying and etcetera. This would be a problem but using the sadist fetish gives you back essence for attacking enemies, in some cases you're left NET POSITIVE in essence wise after firing a gun.
- You can get a trait which allows you to one-shot any imp.
- Combat regeneration regens 5% of your hp for free with no real downside.
- Elementals existing.
- Any sort of AP removal move like witch's seal and flash can gimp enemies aslong as you have enough aura to spam it.
