I said a few pages ago in response to a question about why people still support the game, that even if everyone were to quit on Innoxia - none of us would have a reasonable alternative to switch to. Every single game I've played in this format has some bullshit baggage attached to it.
"Oh, your character is pansexual and will lose his mind any time he sees a creature with even a single hole or penetration-capable appendage."
"Oh, your character is a gigadegenerate and will cum buckets regardless of how filthy the shit he's being subjected to is."
"Oh, what is this, you're reading a new character's introduction? Here are 3 paragraphs about how cute your character thinks >her dick is and how much he wants to suck it."
"Oh, you wanted some degree of choice over your character's personality? Too bad, here's an insufferable quirk chungus doormat that gushes spaghetti out of every hole in every conversation." (I'm particularly surprised that Innoxia somehow DIDN'T fall into this pitfall, despite most adult games managing to)
"Oh, you just got a forced scene where your character was covered head to toe in jizz and you literally couldn't avoid it at all? Just skip it bro. Just don't read things in a text game bro. Just imagine it didn't happen bro."
For all its flaws, LT remains the only game in this subgenre capable of satisfying my needs. Respect for the player's preferences (sexuality choices, fetish likes/dislikes, proper warnings about upcoming content), a mostly blank-slate protagonist, a rock solid procedural sex system (say what you want about it being repetitive, I still prefer it over pre-written), decent combat, relatively subtle teasing (naughty comments and sultry winks > dick helicoptering and ass spreading), on a conceptual level it's everything I want from an adult sandbox.
There is no competition. And nobody is making any. And neither will you make any. And half a decade later there still won't be any alternatives. And we will still be waiting to fight Lunette and complaining about how slow and lazy Innoxia is, instead of giving our time and/or money to some unsung hero who will swoop in and take us on a marvelous adventure in the world of his original "Levi's Chair" game that has everything LT does + a finished main story and properly developed side features such as procedural personalities and everything else. Admittedly, there's 'Strive: Conquest' which is a good adult sandbox game that will get completed within our lifetimes, but it's not really the same format, since you're less of a micro scale free agent adventurer in there and more of a macro scale bigwig ruler who sometimes gets off his golden throne in his ivory tower to save the day.
It kind of surprises me that for all the supposed tons of modded content and people willing to finish the game for Innoxia, nobody is willing to just stock up on Blackjack and Hookers and make their own game in this format from scratch.
