How are you supposed to fight Brax so early in the game? I was going for the main quest hoping it will explain how the game works, but how can you fight lvl 10 Brax on lvl 3? I know there is a way with a perk to lie to him, but if I actually go for a fight he win in 1 round and I can't do anything about it. Only side quest I have is the one where you need to fight 2 Dobermans, which looks easier, but still no way I can win this right now. How are you supposed to lvl up? I mean I was just doing quests... Any tips? Thanks in advance...
I tried it just now, and yikes! I don't remember this fight being this hard! If you insist on beating him in a fight, I would suggest you roam around a bit, level up, and get some better gear. The most straightforward way to get XP is to win fights, which are plentiful in the shadier parts of town. Once you go up a level, you can go to your perk tree, accessible through your phone, to spend your perk points. I usually go for enchantment capacity first to upgrade my gear. Brax seems to be all about fire damage, so fire shielding will help a lot in this fight.

I imagine it'd be rejected as non-canon, but it's a blast to reinterpret real-world police stuff for the game universe.
Canon probably doesn't matter to you but here is some reference material
All Enforcer lore that I've written is publicly available
Additional reference material including identification formats
Additional historical context

Escalation is something I would liked to have worked on, but displaying the player's wanted level requires touching either the UI or some kind of obnoxious message appended to every place type and I have never done that before. It's on the back burner for now.

What about implementing it as a status effect? Or are you looking for something a bit more visible?

Hey, if you mind, I have a quick question: Is it even possible to impersonate this Nysa character or should I just give up for now?

That's a pretty good idea. It would be visible enough in the status area.

I am somewhat concerned about the performance penalty since I think this would be checked almost every tile traversal in some places on top of the usual penalties associated with long non-combat status effects and the usual category optimizations wouldn't apply. Certainly worth a try though, and even if it's too sluggish, I can always recycle the encounter work.

Guess I'll move it up the list, thanks for the input!

You need to become a Lilin, somehow. I think this is achievable through race resets.

1) Then you should focus on improving your level first. No need for perks that early - perks in early game give negligible bonuses, you should focus on getting straight to the necessary traits (the square perks). The different should be how you manage your enchantments and combat.

2) This game is not about just doing quests. You roam around, robbing people clean, sell their stuff for quick cash and repeat. With enough luck (to encounter NPCs who carries lots of money / wielding good equipment that fetch for high price), you can buy a good share of nice clothes and weapons that should allow you to beat up everyone else easily.

I thought so, but it doesn't work. I think because of how the game handles subspecies it just considers you a demon, rather than a lilin or an elder lilin.

The demon check comes before all others, I think, and it checks race rather than subspecies so it may not be possible to get to the actual Lilin subspecies check. Well, it'll be a while before I dive back into that file so for now at least you aren't missing out on anything.

Have you tried a full blown subspecies override in XML?
XML:
<bodyCore [...] subspeciesOverride="LILIN" [...]>
 [...]
</bodyCore>
Edit: Shortened the post to prevent spoilers.

Yeah, I tried that. It's the same thing as using race reset, really.

That's odd. I guess I either bugged my savefile by breaking too many things or the Lilaya questline just is that special in handling the demonic checks...

+1 on Soldier trait and Orgasmic Drain perk. Shouldn't even need OD, it's really broken - turn perk off, spam basic moves, turn perk on, rape, turn perk off, repeat, profit.

The fact the game doesn't penalize you at all for robbing everyone clean (whereas muggers have standards, lmao) should encourage you to hoard stuff and sell it. Also get those 25% discounts where you can to make prices 125% instead of 150%.

Didn't know about the Bonk Bat, thanks Simp Cattu for the info!

Edit: Forgot Roxy was special because of the gambling sex thing.

I wouldn't be surprised if that quest had its own checks, even; I've noticed that there are a fair few redundancies in the code.
This game is built like Johnny Cash's Cadillac.

Darn, this is gold. I love all the details and the effort, the visual reference chart in particular is amazing. Thumbs up pal, I can see you really like working on these!

Skip the fighting and go to the brothel. You can drain NPCs from level 9 or 10 back down to 1 while just spamming repeatable options, and if you take the dominant position you can do it without really engaging in any sexual activity. Plus you'll get 2000 credits a pop, so when you're done you'll have enough money for literally everything you need to break the game further, if you even care to.

Missed that post. Since I've been pretty much roleplaying some kind of DSG-powered lewd version of so far, what I really meant (and misphrased) with "canon doesn't really matter here" (yeah, I know your post wasn't directed at me) was something along of the lines of "complete consistency with Lilith's Realm". antediluvian did a great job at keeping all of LT elements while making a parody of what happens when public safety goes crazy at a situation that is beyond their control lol (the contradictory orders part was gold) - and everything, in my opinion at least, was kept "in line" (many real-world elements have a fitting fantasy arcane version) with the current LT fantasy setting.

Many thanks for the links DSG, bookmarked. Will look at it in detail later since it took me ages to write this post (writing walls of text and going back on what you said to try and make sure it didn't come out wrong is slightly annoying) - and since I missed the chance to say it before, thank you and thanks to all modders for the quality content they brought to the game. Without them, it'd be way less entertaining and kinda bland. :)
I mean, probably for the same reason we're all still here. The game idea had potential, even if we're just watching it be wasted.
Another game, among the first ones I played after registering here, and which I enjoyed a lot went fom being abandoned to dragging backers into full blown criminal activity that is no joke, so I can say I'm just satisfied this is not the case here... Innoxia does back-and-forths but while I'm too new to comment or judge on anything, I don't think she'll ever get involved into such shady business. At least I hope so, as the consequences are more than just ruining a game that used to be good. I'd advise staying out of the thread in question unless you're morbidly curious and you would end up wasting a lot of time...

That's because we do.

But there's only a handful who want to dig into this game. Because anything of substance you want to add will have to be hard coded into the game, and anyone who's looked knows how much of the game needs to be re-written. And when each bit is going to be re-written seems to be random. Like the "surprise, we redid the species code!" update. I absolutely wouldn't want to mod anything meaningful into the game knowing that any work I do now will be wasted at random.

Plus the stuff I'd really want to play with is the sim elements, and the game engine can't handle it.
This is all too familiar but I can see what you mean. The main difference here is you guys have what it takes to create an actual spinoff if it comes to this, and I'm glad to see this. And while I won't take a good/bad stance concerning the developer, I'll at least say she did not engage in practices that are so nefarious they are frowned upon even in the darkest parts of the Internet and there is only one reason the consequences only started fairly recently.
It helps with world building, and I like world building in porn games.
I also love fantasy lore and world building efforts in VNs and eroge, and text-only porn games are no exception. :)

The Enforcer stuff isn't much of a political thing here, either, in my opinion. I believe it takes an interesting approach on moral grounds, especially considering some Enforcers already acknowledged the balance was more than just fragile and just like they might go "what if" when the Dominator tells them a target's crime coefficient goes over 300 (due to rape PTSD) vs full zero against a criminally-asymptomatic individual displaying a full zero due to how the Sibyl System really works, some of them decided to actually rebel against the supreme ruler and the system itself - to protect the people and fight for laws that deserves to be protected. Lilith's Realm is fairly comparable to another Orwellian dystopia where everyone is okay because it just works, and you can choose to let people live in delusion (in LT, just fuck them senseless and mug them) or help them realize they've been living a lie and bring back their true nature so they can decide for themselves (which is already implemented in the dialogue for LT, even if the karma system does nothing)

*ahem* But that's it for the Psycho-Pass tangent... :sneaky:

So we're now a week past the "few more days" without hearing a word from Inno.

Looks like we're going right back to where we were a year ago, where she kept giving dates and then missing them by a week or two without saying something.

I guess in three months or so we'll find out that another system has been redesigned. And then we'll spend nine months working on making romance quests worse.

Thanks. I don't feel I want to go for the "op" stuff at least for now, fighting in the "bad" areas is really easy, so I'll probably do that to lvl up and see other events there... Gonna try that Bonk Bat tho lol

Another question is... Is there something like actual abortion? Or only way to not get kids is picking a trait for -200% fertility or using sterile pills?

Officially? No. Never. Possibly banned from Discord.

The game actually goes out of its way to plainly state "magic makes abortion impossible".
A subplot is literally magically exponential overbreeding to create a tide of colonizing furries.

Lilith's Panic Stricken Plan B is:
A- Everyone Breeds like rabbits so they dont notice the giant fuckup.
B- Somehow Break Reality Marble Prison that is UK.
C- Tide of Yiff to conquer all.

There is a mod somewhere, but its literally the least canon mod possible.

Surprise abortion via XML without mods if you want to get the babies out real fast.

Just in case, (if I recall correctly) should only be available from Vicky's shop in the Arcade *and* in Silly Mode.

(Silly question but is there a way to search non-default branches on github or is cloning the repo and pushing the dev branch to the cloned one, then having it indexed as the default master branch the only option? This is overkill, might as well grab the repo and parse it locally...)
