Perhaps you've only watched "pizza delivery" or "pool boy" porn, but if you would take the time to do even a little bit of research, you would find that porn feature films have been around since the 1970s, and that they often take themselves seriously and attempt to tell stories in a realistic way.

Take a look at the feature films produced by Wicked. About half of them attempt to tell realistic stories. Or take a look at the feature films from Digital Playground, before MindGeek bought them out. They were almost all attempts at telling realistic stories. Look at the feature films produced by Sweet Sinner or Girlfriend Films or New Sensations. Or go a little further back in time and look at the feature films from Candida Royalle's production company, Femme Productions. Or check out most of Paul Thomas' films for Vivid.

There are thousands of porn films which try to tell realistic stories. Some of the acting is good, and some of the acting is bad, and the same can be said for the writing and the directing - some good, some bad. But the films themselves try to tell realistic stories with realistic characters.

As for my having no clue about what adult movies are, I've been watching porn films for longer than most of the people using this forum have been alive. I go back to the days when we used to rent porn on VHS tapes out of the back rooms of local video stores, because that was one of the few ways to get porn. I remember what a big deal it was when online porn VHS sales started up in the mid-1990s.

But you started out by saying that you couldn't understand why that wasn't happening in this game. And that's just silly. It's not as if all porn games use the approach you prefer when dealing with blackmail or rape. It's not as if there aren't a ton of other games which take a more realistic approach. And, if you had been paying attention to the story in this game, you should have been able to tell that this is one of the games which tries to be a bit more realistic with how the characters and situations are written.

If you had just said, "I prefer games in which the girl likes being blackmailed or raped", then I would have said something like "I prefer a more realistic approach, but to each their own." Instead, you acted like it didn't make sense for a porn game to handle this type of content realistically. And that's the basis of our disagreement. Of course it makes sense to handle these themes as realistically as you can, when you're trying to tell a story that feels real to the player.
